Since Al Gore's 1992 US vise presidency science and scientists have been under attack. Atmospheric carbon dioxide levels of about 1200 ppm, about three times what they are today and used in greenhouses, would greatly invigorated C3 plants over 90% of plant life on earth that evolved over 100 million years ago when CO2 levels were ten times higher and struggle with today's low atmospheric carbon dioxide levels. It is scientifically impossible for greenhouse gas behavior to cause global warming. Before Al Gore became US vise president in 1992 earth's water vapor saturated greenhouse effect was taught in US public education. All the greenhouse radiant energy from the earth is completely absorbed in earth's water vapor saturated greenhouse effect by greenhouse gases within 20 meters of the radiating surface adding 5.55°C (10°F) to earth’s average temperature. Its further heat transfer is by convection i.e. gas molecules bumping into to each other.

Its fine to offer products for carbon dioxide. Just don't go over the legal limit and state atmospheric CO2 levels greenhouse gas behavior can have any effect on earth's water vapor saturated greenhouse effect. This is how the professionals deal with it. The back of the United Nation's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) science report states it took its greenhouse gas samples at 20,000 meters altitude where it is common high school level knowledge there is no greenhouse radiant energy. This is typical practice for deceptive marketing to state legal data transparency protecting the perpetrators from fraud prosecution. The IPCC has been transparent with its data acknowledging it is not dealing with active greenhouse gases.

Now that the scam of Al Gore's that greenhouse gases are the cause of global warming is no more, although I've had people tell me they like it regardless, it time to find another.

This seems to be timed to be near COP 29. The promotional term Climate Change in the early 1980s was grounded on actions already taken by Gulf-of-Mexico offshore crude oil drilling companies in the 1970s to build for stronger hurricanes due to warmer Gulf waters predicted to start when average global temperatures increased 1.5°C on track for 2010. That action was taken for a predicted long term change in weather patterns or climate that backed up the use of the term Climate Change. Global warming mysteriously paused at about 1°C in 1992. The cause of global warming is not known in 2024 despite decades of scientific studies.

There most be some form of funding that made this possible. It shows the down fall of fact based science in the US and its prosecution. Before pushing out a string of videos form a major US University, especially one that is suppose to espouse midwestern sensibility, it would seem somebody would have looked at the subject and said NO. Earth's greenhouse effect is frequently used as a primary example to high school students of a system always in saturation from the strong greenhouse gas water vapor absorbing all the greenhouse radiant energy from the earth with greenhouse gases within 20 meters of the radiating surface that is all around us everyday and can't have its overall effect changed. There is no further greenhouse radiant energy to interact with greenhouse gases. I learned about earth's water vapor saturated greenhouse effect in 1978 George Mason High School, Falls Church, VA. The wild part of this definition that makes it seem WOW to high school students is "within 20 meters" it is not set at 20 meters. In humid areas such as an actual greenhouse all the greenhouse radiant energy is completely absorbed within just a few meters of the radiating surface. Its impossible for greenhouse gas behavior to cause global warming. Global warming mysteriously paused in 1992 at about 1°C.

Over 90% of the plant life on earth are C3 plants that evolved over 100 million years ago when atmospheric CO2 levels were ten times higher than today and struggle with today's low CO2 levels. Corn is a C4 plant and does just fine with today's CO2 levels. Tomatoes, pine trees, and many other plants benefit tremendously from CO2 levels at 1200 ppm which is used in greenhouses that is three times current atmospheric CO2 levels. It is scientifically impossible for greenhouse gas behavior to cause global warming. Before Al Gore became US vise president in 1992 earth's water vapor saturated greenhouse effect was taught in US public education. Being associated with this nonsense is bad for people being able to take these people seriously for future employment for high paying responsible jobs. This video has the United Nation’s Climate Change disclaimer. The cause of global warming is not know in 2024. Global warming was officially reported at 1.1°C in 1991 and 1.06°C in 2022. There has been no climate change due to global warming. Global warming at 1.5°C was predicted to cause climate change with stronger observable hurricanes in the Gulf-of-Mexico. It is scientifically impossible for greenhouse gas behavior to cause global warming. Before Al Gore became US vise president in 1992 earth's water vapor saturated greenhouse effect was taught in US public education. There is no further greenhouse radiant energy to interact with greenhouse gases. At 1% average tropospheric water vapor over 99% of earth’s greenhouse effect is from water vapor. Water vapor would hold earth's greenhouse effect in saturation if it were the only greenhouse gas in the atmosphere. The overall average temperature gain to the earth from the earth’s greenhouse effect is 5.55°C (10°F). 0.4% of the atmosphere is CO2 and on average 1% is H20 water vapor. (1% H20)/(0.4% CO2) = 25. Water vapor is 25 times more present in the atmosphere on average than CO2. Water vapor has an CO2e of 18, 18 X 25 = 450 CO2e total for water vapor to 1 CO2e for CO2. Arctic warming is taking place with the proving mechanism being warm Atlantic Ocean waters migrating deeper and more frequently into the Arctic Ocean warming it and the region. The warmer Arctic Ocean water is causing a few weeks less of reflective snow and ice surface cover resulting in more solar heat gain to the Arctic region surface. Atmospheric CO2 levels of 1200 ppm about three times what they are today would greatly invigorate C3 plants the majority of plant life on earth greatly greening the planet. C3 plants evolved over 100 million years ago when atmospheric CO2 levels were ten times those of today determined by plant fossils. The Earth’s oceans have 3-1/2 million sea floor volcanic vents warming the water and changing it’s chemistry that have not been systematically accounted for. That action was taken for a predicted long term change in weather patterns or climate that backed up the use of the term Climate Change. ---- A climate scientist is a modern version of an astrologer. For an up lifting excellent climate scientist “astrologer” depiction in TV fiction that is Geoffrey Bayldon as Organon the astrologer in classic Doctor Who “The Creature from the Pit” Season 17 series 3 (1979) available on steaming video services such as Britbox. It’s scientifically impossible for greenhouse gas behavior to cause global warming. All the greenhouse radiant energy from the earth is completely absorbed in earth's greenhouse effect by greenhouse gases within 20 meters of the radiating surface that is always in saturation from the strong greenhouse gas water vapor. Officially global warming was reported at 1.1°C in 1991 and 1.06°C in 2022. Climate Change marketing videos don't use official global warming temperatures. The cause of global warming is not known in 2024 despite decades of scientific studies. When watching “The Creature from the Pit” mentally replace the word astrologer with climate scientist and Organon would better today’s modern pseudo climate scientist with all the basis of real science they commonly share and a bit better. This gives this modern pseudo science the appreciation from its predecessor we are largely missing. Alas, Carl Sagan NASA's story teller, is as close as we may ever come to Organon the astrologer in real life. Presenting before Al Gore's US senate committee on Climate Change in the mid 1980s, Carl Sagan asked three times for funding to study human caused greenhouse gas emissions as a possible cause of global warming. This possibility was an impossibility from well known science and high school science at that where the strong greenhouse gas water vapor is taught to on average be over 99% of earth’s greenhouse effect. Since it was pseudo science and impossible Carl Sagan was the epitome of a modern astrologer and knowingly so. The way Carl Sagan levitated his hands upward towards the heavens at this US Senate presentation was very Organon in theatrics. It was also ridiculous to anybody that knew better. Carl Sagan very likely had watched Organon in Dr. Who “The Creature from the Pit” released in 1979 prior to his mid 1980s presentation. The astrologer Organon character presentation was excellent. US Senator Al Gore was greatly inspirited by this scheme of Carl Sagan and make it federal policy when he became US vise president in 1992 that human caused carbon dioxide emissions were causing global warming and before that he had pushed it onto the United Nations without a mechanism for CO2 to do so. It is common knowledge CO2’s greenhouse gas behavior can’t change earth’s overall greenhouse effect. Later when Carl Sagan was on his death bed in 1996 the UN IPCC finally disclosed the mechanism for CO2 causing global warming was it was an increasing greenhouse gas. At some point earth’s greenhouse effect stoped being taught in US public education which appears to be during the first Clinton-Gore administration 1992-1996 allowing earth’s greenhouse effect to fall out of resent wide review and the UN IPCC to make human caused greenhouse gas emissions being the mechanism for global warming in 1996 without every US high school science student calling it nonsense. Ironically global warming stalled at about 1°C in 1992. This from a summary of classic Dr. Who season 17 series 3 “The Creature from the Pit" Although the Doctor's solution to the problem of the neutron star, weaving a shell of aluminium around it, has been criticized as silly, writer David Fisher claimed that the idea was in fact proposed to him by members of the Institute of Astronomy, Cambridge. This Dr. Who requires working a bit harder at suspending disbelief although this is part of learning how to watch classic Dr. Who in general. Imagine the impossibility as encompassed in a cloud and then imagine the cloud lifting and fading away into the heavens. 4-8 oz of whiskey mixed with an iced coke soda is a proven augmentation to this cognitive method. The theories from engineers and scientists presented in this Dr. Who are at the level of the best climate scientists of 2024!

unknown, to wild west, to potentially obsolete. How do you feel Zelden will influence your work. Farmers did not do well under a Trump presidency in the past, is that a concern moving forward.

If you take all the living matter on Earth, all the plants, animals, everything and burned it for power, you'd have to do that 100 times to equal the energy we get from coal, gas and oil every year. Think about that for a second. How do you even make a dent in our energy use using bio-fuels when we're already burning the equivalent of 100 Earth's biomass every year? These are supposedly people with advanced collage educations, yet they don't have basic math skills.

The CARB discussion 1:40-1:50 was very informative and kept getting better by 1:48-1:50. A nice carry on from Part 1 and the LLNL author’s slides and words. More slides here and even weblinks would’ve helped but I can hunt for it. I don’t believe we should abandon fossil & risk an #Electric-OPEC because that would be worse than the 1970s OPEC, and bring similar Stagflation. So we will need DAC+CCS all the more. OK I made it thru all 2:19. A long time but a worthy discussion. The comments by all near the end that CCS keeps many of the same jobs as oil (reservoir / production engineering, geology, etc) is key. I don’t think a lot of people realize this. Don’t let overregulation kill off CCS before it gets started. It’s a good idea.

Most of the whole 2nd Panel (ending at 1:40) sounds like they forgot when JFK said “Ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country”. That was the beginning of the road to Apollo 11 in 1969. People compare their desired Climate “Crisis” response to that era. But it’s not gonna happen, since instead they sound more like the famous Weezer “Beverly Hills” song’s “Gimme Gimme”. Very selfish.

I'm listening & liking the CCS+DAC technology but WHY do we have to pull the Race Card out (eg at 1:12 to 1:14 or so) and ruin a good technology discussion? Makes me want to stop listening, I can get that all day from CNN.

Women are under-represented in Science? Whose choice is that? Are they restricted from applying to science courses in university? No. Discover something. Fix something. Get over it and stop blaming men.

CCS is a very stupid project. Just stick to regenerative farming and growing trees, and save money, time, traffic -- you're going to take carbon out of the atmosphere and transfer it via...truck? gasoline powered? Sheer madness, as usual with high tech solutions. I don't buy it, sorry!
