Why do people keep saying that Thorfinn is a true warrior when his character is still flawed in Season 2? In this season of Vinland Saga, Thorfinn misinterprets the message, "I have no enemies," taking it to an extreme. After Askeladd’s death, Thorfinn adopts a life of pacifism, completely rejecting violence and conflict, and vows never to harm others, even in self-defense. However, as the story progresses-especially during the Farmland Arc and beyond-he realizes that absolute pacifism leaves him powerless to protect those he cares about. Even in Season 2, Thorfinn remains a flawed character. While he has shifted to the opposite extreme from his vengeful self in Season 1, this only highlights another form of imbalance in his character. The "true warrior" that people refer to isn’t the Thorfinn we see in Season 2; it is the version of himself that he is striving to become. It seems that many viewers may have overlooked this crucial detail.
