Nice work
there is a colision I could see in the moment you are lifting the main plate... the guides that open the mold to the sides... if you make the inner side of the guide as the way they are from outside it may correct this problem and could solve the issue of non turning back when close...

nice job, i was a master mold maker (retired) and owned my own injection mold corp, that did inception to creation, so many times designers over design and always forget wear plates, in this you included, nice call
