Those draglines are massive. Worked around a few when I did goetech work. Dozers tend the areas around them and help with the power mains. The guys out on the sites always complain about D 9 s being too small. Lol

There's a site that has a D11 jammed in the bucket wheel and support boom upside down about seventy feet off the ground .It was in a German coal striping open pit mine , Machine was the size of a WW2 air craft carrier and near the same weight, pretty much gnawed the dozer up .they never said how long it took them to get it out....

UFB ! I’m not sure exactly but that D11 has to weigh over 100 ton ? If that machine recovery would have been anywhere but there, it would still be there or until they took it out piece by piece! That why you see abandon big iron left for dead in the middle of nowhere and. The reason you really screwed when you get the big cats stuck in mud over the belly pan now you Need two BFC’s to get 1 out!
