Messiah Before the Foundations , Part 5 - "Son of God"
This teaching challenges traditional views of Yeshua’s divinity and humanity, urging a re-examination of theological assumptions formed by later Christian councils. Rabbi Damian emphasizes the significance of Yeshua’s full humanity-not just as an abstract theological concept but as a necessary reality for his role as Messiah. He argues that Yeshua's obedience, suffering, and sinless life hold profound meaning only if he was truly and fully human, not a "God in a man suit." Without his humanity, his example would be unattainable and his role as the way to God meaningless.

Repaving the Romans Road, Conclusion: One In Messiah
มุมมอง 2517 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
Construction projects rarely go as planned-time stretches, costs rise, and patience gets tested. Sound familiar? Over the past months of teaching, we’ve repaved the Romans Road together, uncovering Paul’s true message: not division, but inclusion; not arrogance, but humility. As we wrap up this transformative journey, we’ll revisit Paul’s bold vision: Jews and Gentiles, distinct yet united in M...

At his last meal with his beloved disciples, Yeshua shared a cup of wine with them saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.” Later on that night he went to the Garden of Gethsemane on the side of the Mount of Olives in order to pray. As the light of the full moon beamed down from the night sky and sweat rolled down his face like...

Repaving the Romans Road, Part 17: Chapter 14: The Weak & The Strong

Romans 14 is often misread as Paul dismissing kosher laws or Jewish practices, but is that what’s really happening? Rabbi Damian unpacks Paul’s discussion of the “weak” and “strong,” revealing that the real issue isn’t about food at all-it’s about faith, humility, and cooperation. How should Gentiles and Jews in Messiah navigate their differences? What does this teach us about the Kingdom of Go...

    Yet another thing He showed us as He walked in the flesh. He Let it be known that He really truly DOES UNDERSTAND all that pains us. In every good & bad emotionally & physically way possible. He was also both willing to offer Himself up to be Physically & Emotionally tortured as those had been and many were yet still to be, too. Plus! HE FOLLOWED THROUGH WITH HIS WORD & HIS PROMISE,to do so. Just as it had been written He would.

    Luke 22:14-20 According to scripture Yeshua did not share wine with the twelve apostles. 15 I desire to eat ... 16 For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God. 17 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide among yourselves. (Apostles shared among themselves) 19 And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them (apostles) saying, This is my body which is given for you: (body given for us, not him) this do in remembrance of me. 20 Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you. (shed for you (us)--not me)

    Hmm. My Bible translations (TLV, NASB, and more that I looked at) when I was studying this week’s parasha show the plagues as water turning to blood, frogs, gnats, flies, a plague on livestock, boils, and fiery hail. I can see how you get lice out of gnats, but not how you get wild beasts out of flies. I’m curious what translation has the plagues described like you do here.

    The great omission is the one sided view of history. Those with Judaistic perverted teachings such as the Talmud were ignored that the so called Christians fought against. Satan loves religious wars. Stirring the pot of sin in this message is not a gospel of love and peace through Jesus Christ or Yeshua HaMashiac.

  • @CurtisMiller-w9m
    @CurtisMiller-w9m 6 วันที่ผ่านมา

    No need to call yourself Messianic Jew if you love Yeshua/Jesus. The first believers of Yeshua were called Christians because they were little Christs. Little messiahs, in reference to Jesus. It is similar to Messianic Jew, but your name prides itself on an ethnic group that is of no special importance today because of Jesus bringing many sons to glory of all peoples, tribes, and languages. Sure Jesus was Jewish but he brought in the new covenant and showed the true meaning of the Passover. He broke down the partition between Jew and Gentile making one new man(kind) in him. It’s too bad the so called Christians persecuted the Jews but there is history that you ignored of their devious ways in the countries where they were persecuted. In Revelation the people who called themselves Jews were of the synagogue of Satan. No need to kill or burn them. There is still an anti-Jesus spirit from any people group. Your talk doesn’t bring unity in the church but keeps the division. There is no blessing in that. You can keep your worship day and special diet, but that doesn’t make you right before God.

      Thanks for watching. Your response shows us that our mission is so desperately important. There are too many people who call themselves followers of Yeshua who continue to promote these ideas based on misinformation. Rather than promoting unity, as you claim, your anti-Jewish rhetoric runs the opposite direction. Unlike many commonly claim, Yeshua didn't annul the distinctions between Jews and Gentiles in Galatians 3 any more than he annulled the distinctions between man and woman (no matter what our culture may believe). True unity is not based in sameness, but oneness. In order to understand this deep message from Paul, we recommend checking out our series, Repaving the Romans Road. Thanks for affirming our mission. Shabbat shalom.

    • @CurtisMiller-w9m
      @CurtisMiller-w9m 3 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @ I believe you have misapplied Galatians 3. The context is saying ye are all children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. Verse 26. Ye are all one in Christ Jesus. Verse 28. Sure you cannot change gender, some try, but you can change your bond or free status and even your cultural practices. You may feel comfortable keeping the Jewish traditions but that is all meaningless unless your faith is in Jesus knowing you are heirs of HIS promise. Verse 29.

    • @Shalomacon
      @Shalomacon 3 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Again, I encourage you to listen to our recent series on Romans to give you a much deeper insight into Paul than the traditional anti-Jewish, anti-Judaic interpretations of the church.

      @ Jesus was anti Jewish when it comes to being racist (see Peter’s vision of the sheet) and people setting themselves up as masters and rulers of others. He died for the sins of the whole world. He came unto his own first but they did not receive him. Only a remnant believed him. The shadows of the anti type Judiaistic ways are fulfilled fully in him. No need to glorify old wineskins or burden people with the traditions of the rabbis.

    Your title is correct. Any Christian masking as a Jew is an imposter. The religion buult in that man's name is a RomanoGreek philosophical view of Torah and as such mistransltes and lies about Torah to shiehirn a man into it as your savior. Why is Yeshua never called the word either before or after John? While at the same time there is a word of God Which is the spoken words that come from father. Is it at all possible that the word of God created the flesh of Yeshua who tabernacled among us? Or would you say, no, not even possible.? My mind isn't made up yet so I'm not debating. Could it be that Yeshua was always in the plan and was spoken of as is if he already was? Yah did tell Adam of his plan. Also in the Mazeroth, the whole story is laid out including of course the lion of Judah, and the stars were created in the beginning in my opinion.

    What's strange is in the king James, the father is always an it. Our father, which art in heaven. I thought it would be a mistake but the Greek word there is that same one. Why use that one when there is a word for him?
