Incursions of dust from the Sahara contribute significantly to the concentration of aerosols over Switzerland, with maxima in spring (March to June) and in October and November. Yes they have an airbus stuck in geneva and it can’t fly in Europe due to sanctions on russian airlines. The sanctions took place while it was doing its turnaround in Geneva.

C’est la première fois que j’entends le mécanisme des volets faire autant de bruit après avoir atteints leur position sortis ou rentrés. Ca donne l’impression que le système patine et/ou fonctionne dans le vide. Cela dit je n’ai encore jamais voyagé sur Airbus, du coup ce bruit m’a également interpellé.

@@00_DARYL_00 Le bruit est apparu à chaque fois que j’ai voyagé sur un A220 donc cela doit être normal !

@@MySvestka The A220 is powered by Pratt & Whitney PW1500G engines. According to Pratt and Whitney, the noise is a "low-power transient combustor tone caused by pressure changes against the combustion structure." The resulting effect and sound is similar to blowing over the opening of a bottle.
