MGA walk round
I've had the absolute pleasure to work on this car in the past few weeks with my excellent friend Alan. The car is owned by his brother and was restored by Car SOS in 2017. We've been fitting a new soft top and performing some little jobs in preparation for a very important event. I still can't get over how stunning this car is.

Plenty of foxes and no badgers. The badgers don't seem to like the cold - well who does. Foxes are made of tougher stuff! Silky visits a few times throughout the night, she has a little scab on the end of her snout and she likes to sit down while she's eating so she's easy to recognise. #belfast #wildlife #fox #foxes #frost

Badger update Sept 13 2024

The badger is now a very regular visitor. She was coming earlier and earlier until she realised the food goes out at about 10pm and she usually arrives around 11:30pm now. She is very relaxed and doesn't spook as easily as the foxes. When she finishes the food she goes for a good rummage around in my yard. The downside to this new visitor is very few fox visits now because Miss Badger eats all ...

Another badger visit. It was horrible last night (27-Aug-2024) and she was drenched. The lummox managed to knock the trough over and bury the food.

One one of that lot. Split lip is the only one I know. Big male with his upper lip to the left of his nose. He's been around for a couple of years. The first fox is possibly Silky.

Bloody incredible - its a long way from the days when one of the criteria I had when buying a crash helmet was if I could whistle with it on, for my own entertainment. If the chin bar was too close to the face then whistling could not take place.

Loving this Sqigg I did this a long time ago. Sadly no garage so not able to do it now. 😊
When I start mucking about with cars and bikes, anything with an engine really, I had no garage. The concrete area out the back of my dad's garage, the street, my driveway and then I bought a house with a garage and ..... wait for it ..... a pit! This garage has no pit but the bike lift is brilliant.
All in all that seemed to come apart fairly smoothly.

Strangely compelling viewing - and I knew what was going to happen, yet I sat through it all.
Thank you. This video ended up being split in two and it was still 30 minutes. I can't see the cutting room floor. Part two (the other side) is just as long.
On reflection, having seen that air filter then I have to wonder what the bloody air quality is like in Belfast !!😄
The air is fine. All the contaminants are on that air filter.
