I'm lost.
Hi, is the original interview publicly available?
Have started HIIT and boxing training after stroke. What a differnce. HIIT is 1 min rowing or swimming times 10. With one minute rest. Vast difference in alertness and motivation. Once adapted will resume barbell strength training. Hang in there. Physical therapy also helps. 🙏🏻👹🏋🏻🏊♀️
Thank you for this. I'm glad the FAC has predictive value long-term. I readily utilize the FAC in Inpatient Rehabilitation
Last
being a stroke caregiver is a thankless task, only noticed when its not done
Yes.
“We are not concerned about his mechanics.” Step one: Do no harm. Those mechanics at that force are causing harm.
Personal belief or evidence-supported? What she's doing is what the best quality research is showing to be most effective post-CVA.
Excellent video dr, tq so much

Can you please provide a link to this monitor and sensor - thank you in advance
Kent brought such a big smile to my face watching this. Thank you for your honesty and hard work Kent. I would love to see more content like this in the future :)
I'm loving these videos. I'm getting great and creative treatment ideas for my patients. Because of this video, I now use a battle rope on the ground and have my patients twist and turn to "follow the winding road" 👍🏾
Word. They really got this man outside, running with the LiteGait. I'm here for it! 👍🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Get it.

We would like to clarify that the 'gait subcomponent' chart at 2.22 was an attempt to provide some implementation strategies for students to apply the locomotor CPG's recommendations in general in the clinic. The CPG does not specifically talk about the subcomponents and that chart is not part of it.

where can i find this chart in the ANPT website?
Thank you for taking us through your thought process. Though there are benefits to discussing what we observe to form testable hypotheses, observational gait analysis has long been known to not be very reliable (Eastlick et al 1991 PTJ; Krebs et al 1985). It further has the potential to over focus on a particular kinematic element of the locomotor pattern rather than the variables the movement system is actually organized around. Movement analysis of walking starts with pointed questions and tests pertaining to achievement of gait requirements (Patla, Neural Control of Locomotion, 1995; Hedman et al, 2014 PTJ) including progression, stability, adaptability, long term viability and long distance navigation.
Well done, friend!
Great info!! Thank you!
