Yes this was the day after I lost both tips and the shaft. We had planned on spearing that day. :( When you go out to spear do you freedive or scuba? Im not one of those elite freedivers who thinks it is cheating if you use scuba. Im really into just spearing fish to bring home to eat. In my other video I shot a jack cravelle, Not knowing that they are no good for eating.

hey man i'm a free diver but i'm not one of those elite free divers either lol. that is how me and my friend are, we are all about eating our fish. On our last trip I had so much meat left after stocking my freezer that I gave a lot away to friends. Do you have your own boat?

No but Nick in the videos has the boat. Its not big by any means and the weather is the major factor if we go offshore. He has a 22' Century V hull. I wish we had something bigger. On this dive we had 5 people, 10 tanks and all our scuba gear. We only went 7 miles out but with that much weight, and the little chop only makes it harder to get out there. What kind of boat do you guys use?

We don't have one! lol we actually go anywhere we can by land. hell man we got lucky a few weeks ago and hit port Mansfield the right day. The blue water got sucked into the jetties. I'm talking about a 20 foot visibility easily! I'll have that up as soon as I can because i got some great footage! We fish hardcore and spearfish whenever we actually can but all by land! Sometimes we get lucky and can get out fishing in a boat.

Thanks for the comment Dan, Actually on the trip I shot that sheep head to calm me a bit. I took it back to the boat and went to take my second shot my tip had spun off. I was very upset. The other guys spear gun was being used, and when we was finished using it he passed it to me. The very next shot the spear, tip, and cable went into the deep. The cable wasn't tied right and I ended up replacing what I shot. I'm still learning and please feel free to check out my other videos on my channel :)

Bro!! we just went and did some spearfishing in port mansfield off the jetties. holy crap, When I just had started getting into some good fish, I hit a nice mangrove and he spun my tip off and i lost the tip and shaft! then 5 mins later, my buddy shot a nice one and it took off under a rock and snapped his line on barnacles. so all in 5 to 10 mins we both lost out shafts and tips! im working on getting some footage up. ya man ill def check out some more of your videos! i got you subbed
