Easy Dynamite Shrimp |Spiced Prawn | Fried Shrimp
Dynamite shrimp is a delicious appetizer inspired by Japanese cuisine. It features battered and deep-fried shrimp, coated in a spicy mayo sauce.
1. Dynamite Sauce:
o Whisk together mayonnaise, sugar, and hot sauce (such as Sriracha) to create the iconic dressing.
2. Shrimp Preparation:
o Mix cornstarch, flour, baking powder, salt, and white pepper in a shallow bowl.
o Dredge the shrimp in the flour mixture, coating them well.
o Pour beer into the remaining flour mixture and mix until smooth.
o Dip the shrimp into the wet batter, coating each one thoroughly.
3. Frying:
o Fry the shrimp in hot oil until golden brown (usually 3 to 5 minutes).
o Remove from the oil and let excess oil drain on paper towels.
4. Coating with Dynamite Sauce:
o While still hot, toss the cooked shrimp in the dynamite sauce.
o Stir until the shrimp is thickly coated.
5. Serve immediately and enjoy your homemade dynamite shrimp! 🍤🔥
Feel free to experiment with the level of spiciness by adjusting the hot sauce. You might even feel like you’re dining at a Japanese restaurant! 😊
