I am sending my son and family there at end of month, I also found this on youtube and cant wait to go to crete if only to try this taverna
You are a small youtuber, I am writing this because although we are complete strangers, we are connected through this experience. I have been to Ntounias in October of 2022, in our Honeymoon. I knew about him from youtube videos, so I found him on purpose. Safe to say. even though I worked as a cook for 5 years and cooked myself meals from various places around the world, the food I got from him was just amazing. The olives and olive oil from Greece is just something different...cannot explain it. The mountain goat was just insane. Literally just goat slowly cooked over a wood fire in olive oil, for hours. It had salt and rosemary, and it tasted amazing. That why I am on this video, because I searched him on youtube since I cannot wait to get back to eat at his place. Truly a magical experience.
Thanks for watching, James. I had read about Stelios as well. Having a chance to experience his food had a lot to do with us choosing to visit Crete.
