I wear a size 9 using heal flap gusset, cast on of 64 stitches. After the decrease I knit 50 rounds before the toe. Hope that helps.

Hi Amy! Love that teal sock yarn! I’m a tight knitter and use 2.25mm. For myself, I cast on 64 and I use Kelly of Knit Chat Cafe’s rounded toe which with 64 stitches results in 16 rounds total for the toe. I wear a size 6 but my daughter is an 8. I knit at least 58 rounds for her foot with the 16 round toe. For a size 9, I’d do around 60 for the foot depending on your tension….maybe 62 rounds if you’re a tight knitter. I’ve been MIA on TH-cam for a while myself and am enjoying catching up. Love all the socks you’ve been finishing. We didn’t do anything exciting over summer. We had a drought so not much yard work to be done. Now that it’s November we are finally on vacation in the TN mountains.

Sounds/looks like you had a productive summer....congrats! Our family did a good but if traveling this summer. We left Texas and went in a cruise in my hometown of Charleston. My daughter birthday was in July and we traveled in state. Aug was comic con and took the girl scout troop to a water park resort for labor day weekend! I'm welcoming Sept in Texas because the weather is cooling off. We aren't waking up to 90+ degree weather and it rained a few times lol...are you doing Vlogmas this year?

We didn't have any new vacations. Some camping trips like normal. It went way too fast

What a productive summer! The weather has just turned swiftly into spring here and I am looking forward to lots of time knitting outside this season!

I totally agree with you about garment knitting. I love knitting socks but the long term/bigger projects are so gratifying when they are finished. I’m trying to finish my daughter’s Cozy Comfort Throw this week so I can get back to my sweaters. I bought yarn for the Neon Nectar by Wool and Pine that I’m itching to start, but I need to finish my Stria, Daily Pullover and Totally tubular turtleneck neck sweaters first 😅 Hope you a a great few weeks.
