That's interesting!! I've always played this song with all of the 'moves' on the A and B string, if you know what I mean.. It gets you up into that 12th fret G harmony zone, etc.. Cool video, man!!! Thanks!!!
You can play it anyway that’s easiest for you to get there. Studying classical music, there’s a lot of ways to play the same passage but it’s how it sounds best to you is what matters most

Thanks my friend! Great song and lesson. I've nearly got it. The trickiest part is from the Bm. Good barre chord exercise though. Here's the lyrics at the end: "Lay me place and bake me pie, I'm starving for me gravy. Leave my shoes and door unlocked, I might just slip away, hey, just for the day, please come away... away, away..... It's the last song on Hunky Dory (probably my favorite Bowie album)
