Dont cry for medical college its not worth it, youll be called unsuccessful by your mother for not earning enough as your friends who did btech from 3rd tier engineering colleges in computer science. Most of your parents will take care of you till you start pg and once they'll notice that even pg's are not earning enough according to their expectations then they will bitch about you, if you stop talking to them cause of the toxicity you're getting from them they will tell relatives that we have an ungratefup son or daughter. Mbbs/ bio in general is not an ideal field for a lower middleclass or middleclass in general. If you're from lower class of socioeconomic system its good money, if you're from rich class you can get help in opening private practice but you most probably are doomed if dont belong to any of the above 2 classes. If you are a 11th class student and got even a 60 in maths in 10th boards then trust me you can atleast read enough maths to get into computer science in college. So either do 11th again in maths but dont take bio, this i'm typing after completing mbbs from a good college with good marks and in one drop

Aaj vo bhi 15 lpa ka package le rahe hai. Mujhe apni practice ka peak lane me post pg aur post sr ship ke baad 6-7 years aur lagenege Abhi mai jr1 hu. 2 saal pg ke, 3 years of sr ship and minimum 6 years post that. Atleast 11 years for a full-fledged practice. Will earn peanuts with respect to the effort I put in pre-ug, ug and pg. By that time I'll be 36. Most probably married, have to look after my parents and family, extended family. When will I have personal life. I'm atleast in a better pg because of work life balance, surgical residents like ortho, general surgery, obgyn do this till 40 and less likely to get more than 24lpa before 40, post that yeah usually sky is the limit. So think before you comment. I get free by 5 usually and chose this branch for work life balance and was in the position to choose it. How many can get that? Sabj bagh dikhane ki mujhe aadat nahi baki jaisa thik lage. Agar tum mbbs me ho to internship me pohonchke bhi sacchai pata chal jaegi. There is money definitely but at the cost of youth and happiness and personal life and that too in late 30s or early 40s

Mai pichle 2 mahine se severe depression m tha mai koi engineer se puchta tha toh woh bolte the yeh field m mat aao koi doc se puchta tha woh bhi same kisi se bhi puchta tha sab ek hi chiz bolte the . Engineers dont get job usually mere locality mein jo the woh abhi 20-25k ke liye ghar se 1000km dur hai so atlst maine engineering ka idea drop krdiya .
