Thank you for making this video! (You'd be surprised at how many goobers think just slap a whipple charger on and that's it! No, you still have a basic GT that has dropped in value the second you drove it off the lot. And the only person who knows that your car is a little faster is YOU sitting an a basic GT...) Thank you for actually doing your research on the car itself and what Shelby is trying accomplish with this latest version of the Super Snake. I talked to a verified Ford dealer who has exclusive rights to sell Shelby vehicles (very popular on Instagram) that being said he said that there were a couple of reasons that the engine is the MT-82 Coyote V8. One is the cost that would be associated with a the Predator (GT500) engine would add at least 30K to the already 160K tab! (yes, they have the Code red but only produced 10 of them, and all 10 sold out. But could you imagine if they produced say 1000 or 3000 of them? No way they sell them all! Not at 225K for a mustang no sir!) Second reason was that they can only take what Ford offers for the kind of engine, meaning Ford being Ford if the Super Snake is THAT much better than the Dark Horse or whatever that probably would hurt sales on that vehicle (essentially). Again bottom line is cost. Which is also why they refused to redesign the steering wheel to have the Cobra on the steering wheel instead of the pony. Which of course those of us buying the Super Snake would strongly prefer! Again Ford owns a lot of the rights to certain things up to and including the name GT500 (by itself) Sorry for the long reply but to sum it up he said it all comes down to price (money) like most things these days. 🤑

I don't get why people are yapping about how this generation Mustang is not good, the s197, s550 and the s650 come with the same V-8. Unlike other car brands like let's say Mercedes, they had very good engines in their AMG's in the 2000's, now they offer only 4.0 and 2.0 fartcans

I’m a life long Mustang fan. I’ve had an ‘86 SVO, an ‘04 cobra and now have ‘16 Shelby GT 350. Long live the Mustang.

Even the base GT is a powerhouse 4 pot Brembo's on 14 inch front and rear rotors large single piston rear The pads on the front are only slightly smaller then the 6 pistons. Just need to update to the cooler and belly pan with the dark horse deflectors.

Just picked up a '24 GT manual in Shadowblack with bronze pack. Also have active exhaust and red brembos! No recaros, but loving the ventilated seats. I wasnt sold on the huge screens till i sat in mine and used them, but now i have to say its one of my favorite things about the car! Also, active exhaust is a must; truly impressive for a stock car.

Just finished watching this. On Thursday I put in an order for a gt premium with a manual transmission. The performance pack and bronze package. Ordered it in Vapor blue. The mustang has always been my favorite car since I can remember. And this will be one of my 3 obtainable dream cars. When I was 21 I got my first one which was a 2005 dodge magnum rt. I just wanted a manual v8 mustang which this is. And a 06 manual Pontiac gto. My dream car if I win the lotto is a 69 boss 429. Also I really dig this new s650 I know it’s a new generation but I kinda think of it as the new edge face lift, or the 2011-14 face life on Gen 5. Kinda like a 6.5? I prefer this body over the s550. I grew to really like that body style, but it took a long while to grow on me. This s650 sold me the moment I saw one in person. I’m not the biggest fan of the digital dash, but it isn’t bad. Only thing that I totally dislike is the lack of physical hvac/radio controls. Mostly hvac. I currently drive a 03 ram 1500 so it will take a bit to get used to lol

GM has always annoyed me with their start and stop mentality with the Camaro.

If you want the V8, get the GT. If you don’t, you won’t go wrong getting the ecoboost. IMHO, spending $10K more just for the sound is not fiscally smart.

watch Toyota go back to selling plain vehicles after this, they're realize very fast nobody can afford these because people who modded their previous gen taco's bought the lowest trim and paid for aftermarket parts.

They devolved the Taco with the 4 cylinder and more over killed the reliable 2.7 I4 that was always offered... Stupid decision to force a single engine option on their customers Definitely pass.. I'd rather go for the naturally aspirated V6 Frontier

Built in Mexico where Toyota pays the workers 80% less than they paid American workers yet the price rose over $10k. The fit, finish, and quality have gone way down. Sad! Vote with your wallet and let Toyota know they made a bad decision, this is why you see so many Tacoma's on dealers lots, they are not selling.
