This classic 1974 Bell Jet Ranger II was our special ride of the Sibson Boogie weekend in 2024. An intentionally slow climb to the jump altitude of 5000 feet meant we could admire the scenery before getting out to zoom into it. Fellow passengers and jump buddies Adrian, Kev and Ian share the experience and provided some additional footage here. Music: Metrik - Ascension

A little visit to Skydive Langar this weekend with the intention to practice my tracking, when the clouds would let me. It's the UK's biggest and busiest DZ but it was surprisingly quiet for a Saturday. First visit to Sibson's Drop Zone this year. Fast plane, soft packing mats, big cafe, nice bunch of people. Summer's here at last. It's warming up, and the clouds looked far more inviting, so I decided to go and play in them. Back on earth, I decided to let the GoPro Quick app show off its fizzy wizzy transitions in the edit, and pick a dramatic soundtrack, but I still had to override its poor choice of highlight and pick my own segments. First outing with a GoPro attached to my head... okay the helmet, anyway. Couple of jumps (first one was a solo) and some tinkering with the QUIK app and here we are. I'm sticking with the full sensor format for now, since I know hardly anyone will watch on a big TV, so there's no point in cropping. Even at this time of year, it's kinda special up there. #skydiving #parachuting #freefall #dropzone

Great memories from from Lanzarote. I've been there in 2021 and I dive in the same place. We dive to the blue hole and see beautyfull animals, and in the cave. I was a few days ago on Lanzarote, but i didn't dive becouse I was sick. Bad luck, but I will come back there to make a great dive again. Greetings
