why did you combine cam piercing and separating into one tool?

I have seen people electroplate conductive layered 3d printed parts with a thickness of as much as 200 Microns. I also looked online and some sources say you can electroplate Nickel up to 508 Microns. How would you respond to such an application?

Poor design od the tool. Why scrap is mixed with the parts? Why guide pillars are assembled on bottom part od the tool? (Its not manual tool) Why You used ball bearing cage? This tool looks to stiff. And looks more expensive than it should be. Press stroke too high, process not optimized. I bet that if split tool in the toolshop, I would find more.

I feel that using a grasper rather than one’s hand would be a little safer. One mistake and hand is amputated. And this is an easy fix.

With these bigger tools try to get as many parallels under as you can One in the middle might help if you can handle scrap with blocking it

Reduce the strip width by 25% to save on scrap

Put a bolt sticking out on the upper ram to knock the parts out of the strip Have it pointing down and about 12 inches away from the ram

Reditor here If that had 1/4 the stroke it would be 4 times faster and efficient.

Obviously there is no OSIA in china, if they had respect for that production worker they would be using tongs to place the parts on the die. They probably would be fired if they crushed their hand off. Just because you have to press palm buttons with each hand away from the pinch points dont mean the press cant roll over without pressing the palm buttons. Thinking one can pull their hand away before clearing the pinch points is a tragic misperception.
