Wow that's really a cool model...I had the two foot long one in the sixties..It was destroyed in a meteorite storm engineered by me when I was too cool for it anymore...Stupid kid...

Great work on your XL5. Takes me back to a kid in the 1960s when I use to watch the program.
I used to build museum scale miniatures some years ago including (amoung many other examples) a 1/96th scale civil war Ironclad the 'Choctaw' and must say I really appreciate and enjoy your work, and your attention to detail. I even considered building a studio scale version of the Fireball XL-5 like you did...I don't suppose you have a build log, or a build page?
