I don't know how I came across your video but it's very interesting. The journey is long and lasts a lifetime to understand why we are here, how to interact with others, flourish, be at peace with oneself etc. Personally, my journey began 15 years ago, when I read a first book called "Practicing the Power of Now" by Eckhaert Tolle. This first meal allowed me to become aware of the notion of ego, to let go, I listen to it in audio on TH-cam and I listen to it on repeat until what the narrator says penetrates my brain. Afterwards I wanted to dig into what was behind this book: Hindu and Buddhist philosophies. This allows you to dig into these concepts. I then looked for information on the ego and everything that goes with it. I read a lot of books on Buddhism. Then I continued on my path and was attracted to other variants such as Taoism which is also very interesting. Finally I got to the point where I became passionate about near-death experiences which show everything you need to know about why we are on earth. Be careful, many videos may be fake. For my part, I look for testimonies on a very simple site which is based in German-speaking Switzerland th-cam.com/channels/fZXVkDtwEEMC-jUcLkzDYQ.html where they are people from real everyday life who testify, not people who are looking to publish a book or make money from this subject. Once we understand why we are on earth, that is to say to experience love and to learn, everything becomes clearer. All this experience has been done over many years. The concepts take time to penetrate our brains. It takes the time it takes to make sense, for a little light bulb to come on and finally it reaches us deeply. I wish you good luck in your journey of a life and always remember: we are here to love each other and to grow even through trials. I wish you a beautiful journey of discovery.

I normally don’t comment on anything, but this was very powerful. I felt like you were reading my mind. You literally described what real life is for people. Social paints a false reality that seems to look so real. The fact is things take time as you said so take your time! Thank you!

I agree. The thing in life with people who are irresponsible is that they are not suitable for a higher quality life at least yet, and no matter how financially successful you are, that doesn't mean your a responsible person and having responsibility over your own life means you can control your own life which you absolutely have the right to do so with, and if not, then you are wrongdoing your own self.

Didn't watch the video. Most people don't want to complicate things, the money and corruption that surrounds us complicates things. It complicates every facet of our lives. We don't realise it but the corruption of money and government is complicating simple dating, which is destroying relationships and families everywhere in this country. I hit pause at 0 seconds because nothing needs to be really said. All of our problems stem from money and the lack of it, and this corrupt government and economy is the cause of it. Less money to go around? More snakes at the work place. More crime. More lies. More scams. More violence.

I feel it. What you were saying about chasing positive feelings or avoiding discomfort really resonates with me. I think that by doing that we interrupt necessary cycles and fluctuations in our mood. When something good happens, you can't stay in that heightened positive mood forever. eventually you're going to go back down to baseline. If someone thinks that it's a problem to go back down to baseline, and they use crutches and other kinds of things to try and maintain a heightened mood, they interrupt the natural process that is our up and down pattern of emotion. I think it is wise to let it run its course and to let ourselves ebb and flow.
