my first time submitting my paintings to an art gallery
After a long time away from making art, I'm finally back in a groove of painting regularly. It was my goal to submit a couple paintings to my local art gallery and I finally did!

Making my first ever silicone mold for a weird epoxy project
มุมมอง 522 หลายเดือนก่อน
We are going waaay out of the box on this one! In this video, I attempt to make new hardware for a dishwasher handle that sticks out too far in front of a drawer using a silicone mold and epoxy resin. The question is...will I succeed?

It's getting there! I can't believe how long this project has taken. We just have to keep telling ourselves that it will be worth it in the end! Shout out to author Freida McFadden in this video! (Sorry I said your books are cheesy! I love them!) Music Motion Array Tools Mostly Craftsman...and a hatchet used as a mallet... Camera I'm just trying this out because I've seen other people on TH-cam...
Surprising Mom with Fresh Paint: A Bathroom Glow-Up! (plus painting tips from mom)
มุมมอง 2366 หลายเดือนก่อน
This bathroom started out rough...the previous owners decided to paint over this beautiful retro tile and didn't prep very well so all the white paint was peeling up. My mom spent 5 days removing the paint from the floor tiles, so I wanted to surprise her by painting the walls!

Day 19 - a sidewalk installation (part 1)
มุมมอง 2228 หลายเดือนก่อน
Day 19 has us installing a sidewalk in our back yard from our gate to the mother-in-law suite/guesthouse.
I’m going to make a video of a real dry pour sidewalk. Not inside my yard but the sidewalk that people use every day. Haven’t seen that video yet..
Bare feet! Really!!
Believe me, I know...! 🤦♀ We told him the same thing!
WAIT WHAT THE FLIP I didn't know you did this! GIRL I need more of this content and I have so many questions next time I see you!
Awww!! More content coming at you as soon as I possibly can manage it! 😁
I love it…..would like to see how it’s coming along.
Thank you! I guess I'll have to make a follow up video/garden tour!
@@ProjectRoulette yes…that would be so informative to see how it can be done successfully. The only constant sun I have is my front lawn and I am soooo tempted to plant tomato plants among the roses and Boxwoods!🤭
Ga
What are the diagonal lines across at two points (I think)
Good question! We just had to review what they are called :P basically they are called control joints and they are meant to create a weakened plane to regulate the location of cracking. So if there is a crack in the sidewalk, it is designed to happen at those joints.
Great video! Thank you for making it.
Thank you so much for watching! As you can probably tell it was originally part of a series, but I miiiight have an "official" version coming out at some point!
A pipe under walk for drainage is better than a trip hazard
Good point! We will definitely consider something like that in the future! Luckily, it's been about 8 months now since we finished this sidewalk and we haven't had any trips! *knock on wood*
Awesome video I plan on doing a dry pour just like this. Learned a lot from your video thanks for making it
So glad to hear it! Thanks for watching!

Love the little helper checking in on things!
Thanks! She is my project supervisor! And she is very cute!
Don't the sidewalk to high it might put marks on your highy
Respectfully…..you may want to get a ring light….
Aye aye, captain! I actually have one…I just need to use it.
Nice job, guys. Maybe paint the dipped part yellow just in case you have deliveries and that persons can see it.
th-cam.com/video/-yvyol6vw7k/w-d-xo.html
Awesome job both of yall.
Thank you!
Other videos r saying u need to water every hr or so leading u to believe that u need to water throughout the night. Im assuming thats not the case
omg this is SO freakin cute, now I want to go to a thrift store to find something to transform
Thank you!! It was so fun to do!
Very subtle 👍
Awesome work, but you need to fire that guy.
I hope you didn't overwork your spouse. All that driving, edging and watering may have been too much for him. But on the flip side, damn you are a worker. Very impressive.
It looks awesome, and I would definitely trip.
Thank you! And thanks for the feedback on the trip hazard :P We haven't had any problems yet, but we may still have to paint it bright yellow!
A progress notebook is a good idea to look back at the insides of projects
Looks good even if it is dark. My experience is that wood darkens with time
Excellent tips. Those hardware organizers are essential. Even if you never renovate anything, if you have a house, over time you will accumulate nails, screws, fasteners, and hardware of all sorts. Keeping this organized can save you from having to make trips to the store to buy stuff you already have.
Thanks!! 😊These are good tips for any homeowner even if you're not renovating!!! Great video!
Cute transformation
Keep watering it daily for at least a week, a couple times a day unless it rains, it's coming out more and more that full strength of concrete (whether wet mix or dry poured) needs to be "moist cured" for maximum strength. A week will do you good, but 28 days of curing is needed for best strength, but it's mostly cured after a week. The point is, it needs water to cure, and it will only use as much water as it needs, but if it's not kept moist the inside will be weaker. Good job!
Thanks so much for the tip! We’ve been watering it but we didn’t realize it required that much watering. Luckily we haven’t walked on it yet. 👍
Looks great! If anyone would trip it would be me.
Thank you! We will probably paint it to make it more noticeable!
Impressive! You are so fortunate that your yard is sand already. You can skip a day or two because you are actually doing projects, not just talking to the camera
