5:17 That looks absolutely fantastic on the short card like that!!! Notice they didn't use the bike art on the card at all which I've never seen before. Other short cards or the long card of the same bike have the car render, but on this one they were able to make the movie logo huge, it looks so clean! What an interesting change, it makes me really want a second one in that form. The new 2025 cards both long and short look great as well.

The 'toy' end of matchbox, rather than the 'model' end. I expect many kids would love these, but it seems odd to me they didn't give them the same livery across all the models. That water bowser looks like an adaptation of the chassis from a Faun quarry dumper truck I had and loved as a kid; I also had a crane version of the same chassis. It's nice to see these 5-packs be explored and showcased, hope you can find more cheap ones in future.

Ny favorite is the '75 Chevy Stepside Pickup. I got back into collecting diecast this year, and this 5 pack was the first thing I bought.

Nice top 10. Some of my favorites of this year were: - The Alfa Romeo GTV6 out of the Car Culture World Tour Set. - The 1972 Toyota Corolla Levin out of the JH4 Set - The 1973 Honda Civic Custum out of the JH4 Set - The Aston Martin V8 out of the Pop Culture line-up - The Fiat 131 Abarth in a rally livery out of the Team Transport line-up And probably some others from the last sets of 2024, but I dont have all of those sets yet.

The metal base ones are nice.

The Nissan 350Z Custom is absolutely awesome!! Love that casting a lot!

These silver line series are hard to find in the UK. I'm a little unsure about some of the wheels, too, especially the CRX wheels, they just seem a bit too much. Nice to see them continue to diersify their wheels, though, more wheel variation is what really sets HW apart form other modelmakers. Personally I preferred the Neon Speeders 510 wagon to the Hot wagons one, the pink/purple camo on black looks like stylised cherry blossom in floodlights. That's the only silver series car I've got! I never found most of the rest.

I haven't bought 10 premiums this year, just not impressed that much by the stuff they've been selling at the price they're charging and also very hard to come across Premiums around where I am. If some mysterious benefactor were to offer me any 10 2024 premiums, (in no particular order I)'d agree with you on: M1 Procar - an old favourite, shame about the proper livery but even as it is it looks amazing, and some quick gold paint fixes the wheels ZX 300 widebody - this car is overdue some love, such a great looking car Mazda 323 GT-R - love a homologation model RS6 Avant - big rally Audi fan, so... Rexy - I don't particularly care about the car but this livery is perfectly executed, genius design but I'd add: Boulevard #97 Fiat 500 D - there are a few versions of this casting but this one is the best this delightful little car has looked F&F '87 Chevy Caprice - I love the idea of an ex-police car being repurposed by outlaws and the car really appealed to me in the film F&F Toyota FJ Cruiser - just a great looking offroader Terra Trek Datsun King Cab Baja Custom - same World Tour Alfa Romeo GT6 black chase - I love this car ever since it appeared in Octopussy, which was a favourite film as a kid, I'd really like to see a black one get a wide release

Looks like a ton of recolors and fantasy castings for 2025, including quite a few fantasy THs and STHs. At this point it feels like Mattel is trying to punk us. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Nice haul indeed! Unfortunately new MB main lines have been scarce here in Florida this year. Disappointing to miss so many cool castings but I’m beyond trying to figure it out or worrying about it! Thanks for sharing. 👍

Great haul. I would pick the Transformer number one based on the elusiveness and the killer deal you got. I can’t find that one or the Volvo set anywhere. And move over Lamley, we’ve got another best-of award, the Premium Peg Warmer of the Year! 😂 The Aston is an excellent candidate, and I think the Jay Leno box set would handily take the Premium Diorama Shelf Warmer🏆

I do love that LM002, I'm particularly amused that they built it for a military contract but kept the Lamborghini V12, like a bunch of military mechanics were going to learn to service a full-on racing engine. I had no idea Tina Turner had one, but that's a cool titbit! Love the Ami as well, although it's apparently not powerful enough to class as a car in the UK, I've never seen one but I imagine they are great for very urban places. Hoping to find the Radikal and the Lexus eventually, but I bought the Lamborghini about 6 months ago, the Matchbox stockists here seem stuck on the same case over and over, endless bins of unwanted Rancheros and Teslas. Also interesting you still have Woolworths in Germany. They closed in the 2000s in the UK.

Well Mini GT is great and true scale but there is something with hot wheels premium that make them special to collect

Every mainline version of that Aston Martin was a pegwarmer, I can't imagine what they were thinking making that premium. I love the not-technically-BASF M1 but the rest of that series is a bust. Still, 3.19eur is not to be ignored. I once found a basket of premium F&F Jettas going for 300jpy where they usually go for 800; I regret only buying 2, as that was way cheaper as a source of real rider wheels for wheelswaps and rollbars than buying just the wheels and getting them posted. Why noy get another and replace the T.50's oversize wheels?

I really like the paint job and the Deco on the Porsche its one I will have to chase down for sure.

I like the recent trend of Mattel re releasing some classic and highly coveted - and thus highly overpriced - castings. It Could be one way to get a handle on the scalping craze. Yes the originals will still be valuable but perhaps come down to more reasonable prices the average collectors can afford. Thanks for sharing.

I'm glad they re-released the 993 GT2. It's another chance to get the model. And there have been 11 years in between releases, unlike other re-releases, for example in the F&F line, where it is only 1 or 2 years. And they made a differentiation between the old and new model, so the loose versions of the 2013 release will mostly keep their value. The 993 GT2 is one of my favorite castings, so I hope I will get one soon. I tried to get the 2-pack on the Smyth's toys website, but it was sold out already... The Cayman is awesome too!

there is a code number at the chassis or backside of cardboard, where the last two letters (like WB, WS, 2X) are the OEM of greenlight. Greenlight has different OEM, and WB is the most common OEM with the most QC issues

Yesh agree,€12 for a hw premium is waaaay too much. In the US, they can be $5-6. Here in UK, they're around £9 which is also expensive.

The Alphatauri NSX is really gorgeous, as a Tsunoda fanboy it was a must have. Did notice on some review copies that the Honda badge had a bad tendency to be printed off-centre and it drove me absolutely crazy, so it'll remain boxed for now to keep the old OCD at bay haha. Schrödinger's NSX if you will. Great review as always 👍

There are facebook groups in Hungary and people started to buy these Volvo and the Optimus Prime trucks. They saw a few "look what I have" pictures, and they wanted the trucks. Just to have the same they saw on the picture. That was the only motivation. Scalpers noticed it and started to buy all these Volvos and Transformer trucks. Now the price is 2X... Crazy.

Some nice new cars! That Tarmac Works Merc looks good, but it should have a plastic base.

Can’t go wrong with Mini GT they just never miss even with “less desirable” castings. Pop Race is really up and coming, similar to mini GT but somewhat sturdier on some castings. I recommend getting one of the Skyline drift models to get the real gist of what the brand is doing. Agree with you on Tarmac. Look great but feel cheap or chintzy. Nice haul. Keep up the great work!

Some nice stuff there! I expected that World Tour set to be a lot more popular than it is, especially the Supra. And I agree on what you said about the prices for premiums in Europe these days, you basically have to pay the same price as a MiniGT for a premium, and MiniGTs are way better in quality. But it is what it is, I guess.

Nice haul of MB mainlines which have been just as scarce over here in the States this year, at least here in Florida. I love the recolors of the Porsche the MR2 and the Eagle, which yes was an all American car complete with fake wood paneling from the American Motors Corporation no less lol. Oh and the Tuk tuk is really cool, too. Nice to see Mattel and MB go outside the box even though it’s through a major licensing deal! Thanks for sharing and giving collectors hope the drought might end soon!

I just picked this pack up because thought all 5 models were pretty decent. I love the Subi casting so I had to add it to the collection despite the ridiculous livery and the Volvo is another casting I had to have. Regarding the set name not only is it crazy no German cars included but I would not take that Jag on the Autobahn in any era lol 😊

Saw the Toyota in the box packs at the mall, but was unsure on the colour and couldn't find a good review of it to clarify for the life of me - much appreciated!

I am OK with Indiana Jones 5, but I love the Tuk-tuk! Nice shades of purple today too. Kind of sick of Matchbox doing police cars that don't look like police cars, though - the models are good, but it's like they never saw a US police car before, only heard descriptions, and insist on making them silver and orange or green with flames...

Another nice 5-pack, the only ones I'd not really want here are the GT40 and Subaru. At least the Subaru seems more realistic-looking than the Japanese police one - do German police drive Subarus? I expect there were a handful of roadgoing GT40s but I think of it purely as a racer.

Great 5-pack! Love all 5 models, but the Volvo P1800 S is my favorite!
