Yes, snow is here but not nearly as much as the weather forecast was predicting for our area. That's a relief! I agree that Crystal Lake is always beautiful no matter what time of year. Enjoy your winter walks!

It is very nice and very seldom ever meet other visitors along that shoreline. I've seen moose footprints in the sand too, but yet to see a moose.

Sometimes I remember what I've read about plants I've seen on my hikes. Always nice to come across one I've never seen before and then search for identification.

Yes, the shoreline around Angel and the adjoining Crystal Lake is beautiful. It is fun this time of year to search for mushrooms. And in the winter I can walk across the lakes once they freeze over. So they really offer four season enjoyment. 🌲🌼🍁❄

They were very active for sure and glad I happened to stop by when they were out enjoying a swim. I really hope they don't destroy the trees that I find so lovely to see around this pond however. There are so many beavers living in and around Elliot Lake.
