I'm in Arizona and all i can do is feel bad for Cali gun owners; regulation after regulation being past to prohibit an owners ability to defend ones self. My grandfather bought a cabin in So. Cal to get away from our nasty dirt air, and had to buy a brand new shotgun because both his had 18" barrels. I guess the four extra inches required by Cali law makes shotguns less dangerous but only in California.

I am cross dominant,( right handed , left eye dominant. Maybe i am odd, but i Shoot rifle right handed and sight the rifle to my right eye. pistol I shot right handed both eyes open and slightly turn my head to use my left eye.

I would say watch the video first, nothing you say here makes sense. It seems you are replying to someone, press the reply button. Most people first experience shooting via movies. Good video. i am right handed but left eye dominate. i just trained myself to use my right eye, i spose you could call it ambidextrous vision ?? ive begun training myself to shoot both eyes open though. usaully with handguns and shotguns. Still learning to shoot rifle 2 eye opened because of habit of years of 1 eye shooting. There are definite benefits to shooting 2 eyed though. Thanks for your video

@RcUniverseGuy "I'm pretty much the best shot at my range and im the only one that shoots with one eye open" "just cause you hit the target doesn't make you a good shooter" you just contradicted yourself... so with 1 eye or 2 eyes. doesnt matter if you can hit a bullseye at a range sitting still with your rifle sandbagged down, we are talking action sports and hunting it certainly helps. esp when there is dangerous game invovled..

I mainly shoot handguns, but i am a right handed shooter and am cross eye dominant (left eye) so should i shoot both eyes open while firing handguns?

@PEEWEEK707 Seriously? With all due respect this is just an asinine question. It's analogous to arguing that a two handed grip isn't better than a one handed grip because some people only have one hand. If you have one eye, it's your dominant eye by default. Keeping both eyes open is a moot point, right?

QUESTION: What about those of us who are neither right, left, or cross dominant? I am CERTAIN that I am Center dominant (or both-dominant).Neutral so to speak. a more simple way to determine eye dominance is to look at an object and close one eye then the other. if the object moves in your perspective then that eye is not the dominate eye, the other is

I myself am right handed but left eye dominant. This video really helped me but I have one question; is it easier to change (or at least adapt) your eye dominance with simple exercises or is it easier to learn to shoot off handed? Thanks :)
