It’s more of a stylistic/time choice. Honestly the wood barrier looks the best, especially when it’s a wood guest gate habitat. I should probably replace some of the other barriers I have in my current, Oceania animals zoo. (I just got done with a massive building to hold my King Penguins, but I need to do the rock work now.)

Those first tips are game changing! I would have never thought of deleting that awkward 6” wide path coming out the entrance. Then, adding all of your first buildings to the entrance so that everything is lining up. This has been bothering me for ages. My OCD wants to kiss you! 😂 Thank you!

You need to download the freebuild mod, it's a game changer, I couldn't imagine playing without it now!!

this game have the worst career mod in any game i ever played. So, i`m sorry. i did try to play it several times, but always dropped it. So, try and errors, youtube videos and steam discussions is a way to go)

I just recently found your channel cause I was looking for tips cause I wanted to start making my first full sandbox zoo after I added roughly 360 mods and have reached 780+ hours in game and wasn't quite happy with my building ability after all that time. I have to say your videos have already helped me so much, I have finally had answers to questions I've had since I downloaded the game and I can't thank you enough. Your content has also just been great, its the perfect thing to have in the background while I play and it's also entertaining to watch. Overall I just want to say a big thank you for taking the time to make videos like this they truly are helpful and I'm sure I'll binge your channel and comment on more videos to come!

ive tried putting null barrier inside habitat, outside habitat, and inside the walls i make but my bears keep escaping over and over almost instantly, they just run right through it. Please help!

Idk if I missed it but I didnt see the food and water dishes placed in the building. Those are always an eyesore but necessary.

Followed this in details but always says my barriers are ”blocked”… never played such an infuriating game in my life!! 🤣🤣

Do the buildings I make function as the shelter for the animals? Like if I make a shed out of the construction material does it count as a hard shelter? And do guests walk in there on their own if it’s touching a path or do I have to run a path in there?

I’ve started my first franchise, & I’m well off with money about 2mil, with 100+ animals in it, I’ve done roughly the same as you, but the viewing areas, I’ve used a different path, so the customers don’t get all bunged up in the area, my path overall is concrete, and the viewing ones are wood, and works quite well😅 hoping to start a new franchise soon, I’m currently building an area for more staff facilities😵‍💫

I came back to this game after a 2 year hiatus, and having nearly finished career mode - and discovering your channel at this moment, you've helped me to realise 3 things: 1. I've barely scratched the surface. 2. To look down one's nose at the in-game barriers is freedom. 3. The Aquatic rocks are a game changer. Just want to say thank you, and keep publishing this stuff. It's gold, and your love for the game really shines through.

This is great, but not everyone has the time for patience to be honest. I don't like giving that advice to people in that way. For example, if they are playing 2 hours a week, it might not be until 2030 before they get a chance to go into Sandbox mode by those rules. I say just let people make a few crappy zoos first, and then get the hang of things and be happy. (Because honestly, tutorials aren't perfect in this game either. Like a lot of people seem to get stuck just on the tutorials because the tutorials want to limit what you can do even among the things they tell you to do... along with some quirks and bugs that might not recognize right away that you accomplished something) I mean, my logic for this is really if most people could be paid by making planet Zoo content, then it's worth that time investment, if it's just a game that is eventually going to be replaced by the next planet zoo or planet game, then play how you want! (Even if it is not the best idea)
