5 yards from a bull elk with my bow!!!!
This was an awesome series and with your Dad as well. What great memories to build and awesome deer. My son and I have been both working like crazy to get a coues with our bow. Nothing yet, have been down south and unit 21 a lot but nothing yet. What unit was this series shot in, beautiful country.
Thanks! We have been blessed to be able to hunt with our dad and now him with his grandkids as well. Coues deer are tough especially with a bow! This hunt was in until 27. Thanks for watching and if you haven’t already please subscribe to the channel.
Awesome keep it up guys ..
Thank you so much! We plan on it!
All dam day !!! Good shit there ..
👊🏻👊🏻
What do you look for in a big buck
I’m a sucker for a big, tall and massive typical 3x3 with eye guards!
Awesome
Thanks!
Awesome
Thanks!
Like the video / Not the music.
Awesome! Thanks for watching and thanks for the honest feedback.
Nice buck bro.
Thanks 👍
101.7/8
I have an 11 year old son, hes 0/2 on draw apps for coues. The father who is right there next to the muzzle coaching the kids is a rock star. Thats awesome to see.
The draw is definitely disappointing when that happens. Thats my brother, he does a great job with the kids and coaching them through the shot and reminding them of all the fundamentals we have practiced. Thanks for watching!
@Organoutdoors luckily, I've been able to take him to Texas where he has 3 deer with 3 shots. Unfortunately, he missed a javelina this year, and we had some close calls on turkey but no shots. He loves it though and that's all I care about.
@@caseycharter5731that’s awesome!
Great hunt! I was about to fall asleep but came across these hunts and had to binge watch em all before I went to sleep. Curious what were the other bucks scores? I didn’t catch that.
Hell yeah! Thanks for watching! They all scored 100+
Scout it, shed it, Sherwood it - sent me here. Music is fine. Interviews could be edited shorter. Other than that, really good stuff that I see getting better. Jeff
Thanks Jeff! Appreciate the feedback and thanks for watching!
always have some fire starter in terms ofthe liquid used for lighting coals on fire wow
🔥🔥
Erics spot on about social media and trail cameras! We eat ourselves 100%.
Very true, one of our biggest battles
I 💯 % Concur, Coues Whitetail are the prettiest and fiesty of all deer. Once you hunt them, you will be addicted for life!
You got that right!
The javelina call his dad made works like a charm. The first time using it called in a javelina that dropped down in a thick wash. A must-have if you plan on hunting these stinky pigs.
Love it!
Eric is an amazing hunter. I appreciate all the information he freely gives to help fellow hunters be successful.
Agreed! He’s great!
I love the late 23 archery tag
Late hunts a fun for sure!
A curious young male following you is scary. Finding out the bear spray has somehow depresurized is terrifying.
Oh no!! That would be horrible.
The first time I came up on a sow with her Cubs, the way she stared at me, there was genuine fear going through me
Oh I bet! That’s would be crazy
Ugh
👊🏻
Is this some lingo i dont know about? You went from bears to boars.
Mature male bears are called boars and mature female bears are called sows. Check out the full episode and thanks for watching!
@@Organoutdoors I knew about the females being called sows, but I've never in my life heard a male bear called a boar. 😂 Learn something new every day.
Just ran across your videos on TH-cam just wanted to say great sportsmanship congratulating the young man on a great buck and just move onto the next one that’s public land hunting right? Great videos keep them coming.
Thanks Phil! Appreciate the support.
Your Hunting production videos have become first rate. Great Buck Sir!
Thanks Dave, always trying to get better!
Watched this video again casted to my large TV. It is great you had your wife along, she is a great spotter. It sure was exciting. I was on the edge of my seat, I kept saying shoot him, shoot him, before he quartered away and you took the first shot. No pun intended, I'd probably nickname and refer to him as your "Boner" deer, LOL as you recount this story with family and friends. He sure has alot of bone mass.
🤣🤣 awesome!
Great Podcast Gents! Us hunters share a common bond brotherhood. Really enjoyed your talk with Eric Forrest. I really had to laugh that you both don't feel your age, with Eric at 28 and you Jared at 38. Odly enough I am 58. Let me tell you, at 58, I don't feel my age too, but my body is definitely starting to tell me my age. I can't do what you young bucks do now, as joints and cartilage are wearing down. Stay young brothers.
Glad you enjoyed it!
👌
👊🏻👊🏻
Yes, Eric is "hard-core," Archer 🏹 and a very good bow hunter!
He’s awesome! It was super fun sitting down and chatting with him.
Amen brother

@@Organoutdoors yes sir let’s go Brandon
Another great story! I'd say you did a fine job recalling a hunt that happened 22 years ago. That's a pretty buck man!
Appreciate it Joe!
Nice! I don't know what it is but I love hearing 1st buck stories. If you're not steady don't shoot is some great advice. Unfortunately, I was a "if it ain't flyin it ain't dyin" type of kid. Great job!
Thanks Joe!
Thanks Joe!
U should try to get a GoPro or something so you can show us what your seeing then like spilt screen it so it’s you and the recording
Thanks! This story was from before I was filming all of our hunts. Check out the my channel for live action videos of complete hunts and thanks so much for watching!
I thought you were about to freestyle
🤣🤣 oh man, that would not go well! 😎
good story thanks 👍
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great Bull! Great hunt! Late elk hunts aren't for the weak.
You got that right!
Great video and a great buck
Thank you!
Great 2nd Buck!
Thanks!
Awesome keep posting
Thanks!
Wow
Thanks!
Heck ya, that was a great hunt. Great 2nd buck. I think you’re right on how far of a shot it was, I know it was in the 400’s and 450 sounds right to me.
🇺🇸🇺🇸
Bad ass congrats
Thanks!

Thank you, I will
Awesome dad
Absolutely!
Awesome man keep posting
Thanks! Will do!
Great story, I am glad you shot a little 2x2 for your 1st deer. If your dad put you on a 120" Coues Deer with you killing it as your 1st deer, you probably would have had nothing really greater to look forward to and would have been spoiled for life with nothing to keep the fire 🔥 drive in you in a quest for a giant Coues. My 1st deer was a 2-1/2 year old 2x2 Mule deer.
I agree, I’m glad it worked out this way. However, stay tuned for my second buck. 😎
I'm enjoying following along on your journey
Thanks Dave!
Your Dad was a man of good words.
Amen to that!
