Yeeeeaaaaahhhhhh cause I can confidently say that this is one of the male kpop groups that presents as brown pretty often. Saying they "lack melanin" either makes it sound like you are saying it's desirable somehow or giving them this weird proximity to whiteness which is literally why disfunction amongst Asian people and other POC individuals exist.

Can someone tell me why people keep calling Jun “Park Ocean”? I’m new to them so idk this inside joke (?)
It is an inside joke! Before debut, A.C.E wondered if it was better to use their real names or stage names for promotion. Jun had the idea to use the stage name "Ocean". Donghun loved the idea and thought about taking that name for himself if Jun didn't want it anymore. The other members kind of made fun of that name though, so no one took it in the end. Park is just Jun's surname as is.

@@choicenter5420 Problem is I am a man, no joke. If I were a woman I would not care. But since I have always been into club / dance music (whatever) I really fell in love with K-Pop but have no time to go deeper into every aspect of it. These guys on the other hand are extremely talented yet underrated and they seem so nice and are such crackheads that I decided to stan them. Not disappointed at all.
