Ski Trails with Brian Lane

The channel has recently gone through a small rebranding with an updated logo and channel name. Formerly known as Brian Lane Ski Videos, makes ski trail maps come to life through actual Go Pro footage. Using several cameras, I log trails at various mountains to enhance your trip with greater local knowledge for both skiers and snowboarders.
This channel will revolve around my passion for skiing and snowboarding. I intend to use past and future footage to give overviews of the trails. The footage will be listed by trail name and location. The purpose of the videos will be to show grade and trail characteristics. (Though conditions always vary at each resort on a daily basis.) I will pass along information which would be helpful to families and people of all ski abilities. In addition to interviews with locals with general footage. Secondly, I will post videos from my travels in the fair weather season including various races, hiking and water sports.

Broomstick and the trees at Magic Mountain
This video begins on the summit of Magic Mountain in Vermont. The video takes viewers down Wizard before turning onto Broomstick. The group ducks into the trees before pouring out and turning back onto Bailout.

Grizzly Bear to Bear Bottom at Stratton

This video shows first tracks on Grizzly Bear where I run into a squall before clearing the lens on Bear Bottom. This run starts at the summit at Stratton and finishes at the URSA Express.
Hell’s Crossing to the woods at Jay

Hello’s Crossing originates at Northeay and turns sharp right after the ridge drop. The video then enters lower Hell’s Woods and meanders back toward the Jet Triple.

Duck Soup at Stratton Mountain

Duck Soup can be found under the Mid Mountsin Lodge at Stratton Mountsin and can lead back to the base area.
Dino’s Drop at Stratton Mountain

Dino’s Drop is a narrow trail on Stratton and ends just above the Snow Bowl Express.
American Express to URSA Express at Stratton Mountain

When the gondola is not running at Stratton Mountain the American Express lift can get you out of the base area. After exiting the American you can turn left to travel down Overpass and Grizzly Access.
Black Bear with a glade at Stratton Mountain

This video starts from the top of the URSA Express and travels down Black Bear at Stratton Mountain in Vermont. There is one little section where I tuck into the woods. I end of on Way Back before finishing back on Black Bear.

Have you ever been skiing at wood’s valley in Westernville ny? It is a small ski resort with a great lodge and fun terrain. If you are in the area you should definitely consider doing a video there.

The best drop is around the minute mark, but very few people go way out, so the snow is sometimes better.
