DC Police Code 1 To Stabbing with Rumbler
3rd District DC Police Code 1 with rumbler enroute to a stabbing.
This is Code 1, not Code 3. Code 1, lights and sirens.

Code 1 is actually responding with no lights or sirens, and code 2 is only with lights, this is suppose to be code 3 which is responding with speed and with lights and sirens. Edit: so this is code 3
wouldn't it be code 3?
DC uses a different system so its code 1 instead of code 3
Very interesting that your response codes are similar to here in Australia. Police here use Code 1 as an "officer in danger", code 2 any other L&S response, and code 3 with no advertising. For ambulance Code 1 is L&S, Code 2 immediate response with no L&S, and Code 3 Routine.
Some parts of us has different penal codes but yea your is mores confusing
@@truckertae9725it’s not penal codes, it’s like modes of response. Code 1 means “GET THE HELL OVER HERE”, Code 2 means “get over here!” and Code 3 is just “bro come over here”.
bro, hes responding code 3
DC has a different code system
@@chris52209 i thought it was national
What’s dc police ?
To all the police out there, thank you for your service.
I am so confused. So your code 1 is lights and sirens, the equivalent of my code 3? Or the other way around
I thought only the NYPD are allowed with these sirens
Everybody int the world can use them why would the thing that bat shit nowhere even uses them
Julio sauldos Ecuador
Not too much traffic in DC, I guess. Pretty easy.
The rumbler siren will always be my favorite
sounds like NYPD siren
It’s the same siren
that is code 3 lmao
TY stay safe!
Ride Along
You do know lights and sirens is code 3 not code 1. Code 1 is driving normal
not in dc lol
P
Boys living our dreams. God speed.
Are you a cop?
That's actually a howler but ok
Rumbler not howler
NYPD style
This is code 3 but nice video none the less
Code 1 in DC but thanks for the input.
What the he'll a rumbler?
Bruh all the stores I used to go to on 7th Street man funny Seeing them now that 7-Eleven on 7th & Rhode Island not there no more 😢 and my Favorite carry out I used to go to China Express now some Bar now. All them construction sites in-front of Kennedy recreation center now done now. Sad seeing what used to be there in 2013 I missed the Old DC stuff has definitely changed ever since 8 years ago.
Grew up in that Neighborhood man I was at home that day
3rd District DC Police
Grew up in that Neighborhood ✊🏾✊🏾
Not sure if you know this, so I will inform you. code1 = No lights code2 = Lights code3 = Lights & Siren
Not in DC, as I have informed everyone else. DC Police Code 1: Lights and Sirens. That information is only coming from a DC Police officer of 32 years. Appreciate the comment though! 👊
@@ryanck712 That is very interesting, I will surely look into that but thank you for that information
@@ryanck712 Any particular reason why they have it that way?
@@_ats Every Department is simply different and have varying origins/past practices that bleed into their modern operating procedures. I take an educated guess to say that this is also the reason why every department has different 10 codes as well.
So 1 is Just Sirens no Lights and 2 is Just Lights no Sirens?
Code 3 ? Not Code 1 ?
That’s Code 3 though
Code 1 with DC Metropolitan Police Department is lights and sirens.
@@ryanck712 I see. I usually run by CHP code and PA.
Sad you haven't done no new videos responding to serious call... We love them with Federal signal Smart Sirens.
It’s actually code 1
Not in DC. Code 3 is lights and sirens like as shown.
@@ryanck712 really? Hmmm. I guess I missed that in the 23 years I’ve been a DC cop. Code one is lights and siren, code 2 is direct to the scene . (In DC). Sorry sir, perhaps you should consider whom you are speaking with.
Quite hostile for simple mild confusion on my part. I stand corrected. You may calm down now.
@@ryanck712 not hostile. Annoyed that someone whom doesn’t actually know, speaking with authority. Instead of trying to find out, he declares his righteousness. So, I advise, I am very calm. I wouldn’t ever claim knowledge I don’t have. But when I do educate, and you correct, you best be right. Make sense? Tell you what, put 15 years pushing a scout car, and see how you respond when someone correct you in error. (I’m not asking you get all the way to 23 years. Just make it 15 in SE DC, not munch to ask.
I know that engine, Taurus Interceptor, most awesome thing i’ve driven. Well there was the charger persuit once, but the Taurus was kickass.
Yawww U here? After 8 years
Imagine going on a ride along tho. Looks like a rush
They are so easy to sign up for

Super!!!!
Awwww video. Wish I could like this video a 100 times. I love the sirens & rumbler.
Who else just got recommended this?
Wow that was awesome
Cop the other: stabbing? You go first.
Are you an Officer
No, my dad is.
@@ryanck712 wow, so cool, I thank him for his service
Oh man, didn't know a rumbler is that sharp.
Rumbler + Priority siren = bitch g’out the way
I've been watching code 3 videos, but not many with rumbler. Maybe I'm jumping to conclusions but it seems that the rumbler increases the front distance at which vehicles notice you by quite a distance!
The rumbler is a literal subwoofer attached to the front of the car, in which it physically vibrates anything in front of it, in the age of "sound proofed" cars, Sirens are hard to be heard, and the Rumbler is the answer to this problem.
Rumblers make everything in the car shake including the steering wheel, so if you don’t hear it you’ll definitely feel it
Hey Magnum, I speak from experience. You FEEL the rumbler before you hear it coming.
Guess some cities are more exciting than my suburb. Dead as hell, calls were standard.
awesome
Where i can to buy that siren?
bulldog44 I'm not sure. This was in a marked DC Police Ford Taurus Interceptor. Vehicle is equipped with Whelen sirens and Rumbler siren from FedSig
ok, I'm from France. I want to buy a crown P71 with this siren.
go online and buy them, they are expensive tho
@@hooknladderfirephotography3854 no, exemple. He is clean, ok 6000$ it is a little expensive. losangeles.craigslist.org/wst/cto/d/santa-monica-2008-ford-crown-victoria/6744435415.html
@@bouldog44470 i was talking about the siren not the car you wanted, your first comment was about the siren, i have alot of sirens that ive collected over the years from multiple brands such as Whelen, Federal signal, Powercall, Carson, SVP, Galls and code 3
I need to ride with DC soon.
