Honestly, I'm just glad that Pixar finally managed to make a regular _good_ movie (That's neither something to praise for generations nor a mediocre thing that'll get forgotten the day it releases) after a couple years of consistent misses. They still have a lot of potential as a great studio even if they are long past their prime, and Inside Out 2 proves that.

To be fair, frozen did hint at hans and Anna kind of not fitting together at all though the song they had But it's nowhere near enough hinting.

Honestly, I think Bellwether could have been fixed if her motivation was to gain respect and recognition for herself. Say she felt disrespected or unappreciated in her position. She could stage a problem, then fix it or unite the population against it so she could be seen as a powerful, competent leader. This took me two minutes to come up with and I think it would work better than what she actually got.

I call this era the trope era because it feels like they are steady doing the same thing I hope zootopia 2 can be the exciting incident that saves them.

I have belles tales of friendship on VHS! It’s not even about the beauty and the beast characters, it’s mostly live action and then with random animated shorts like Hansel and Gretel. They also include the cheering up mrs. Potts cartoon you already saw so you’re not missing much.

Oliver and company, Roger Rabbit and the great mouse detective are my favourite disney films from the 80s.

The only Disney (not Pixar) twist villain I genuinely like is King Candy from Wreck it Ralph. The thing with him is that the shocking reveal isn't that he's the villain (That's kinda obvious), but that he's Turbo, and that just adds depth to him and explains a lot

To me the problem was the tone. They made my boy Perseus feel borderline grimdark... in the first season. Like save the moody brooding and epic heroics for future seasons. For season 1 it should be pure chaotic confusion and "what do you MEAN this pen is a sword?! This is a PEN!" But idk, the show feels geared towards adults, despite the actors being kids. Give me "Echinda? Isn't that an animal in Australia?" Where is the silly? Where is the goofy? The BEST scene was Percy trying to drive Hermès' taxi because its so ridiculous and relatable and he is just trying his best but "THAT GUY DIDN'T EVEN SLOW DOWN!" so he honks his horn 20 seconds later and THERE HE IS. THAT'S CHAOTIC SASSY PERCY.

I actuallly liked the change in Episode 3, but it didn't work in Episode 6 and imo Episode 4, because i didn't like the long Echidna-talk on the train. I would have liked more scenes with the trio more.

I got into percy jackson literally last year (the books were never popular in my country) because of a friend, and when I heard about it I was excited! While I was reading there were many moments of me thinking how amazing it would look in a visual medium. But I'm still kind of unsure if the series are worth watching, considering all those exposition dumps

my only 2 problems with season 1 are they rushed it. some episodes were under 30 mins for gods sakes they rushed a lot of plot points and some character development was just thrown out the window. but also what u said, the fact that annabeth and grover knew everything took a lot of the stakes and tension away from certain scenes and completely removes others

i really enjoyed the series, the changes i thought where really good. the part 2 problems about them knowing the threat ahead of time i feel like it shows how smart these characters are. more of a show dont tell kind of thing. i had alot of fun with the show.

My opinion on the tv series is that they kind of forgot that Percy and Annabeth are not experienced with quests in the first book and that's why they run into monsters not knowing who they're facing. The whole pjo series almost goes like this but they do get more cautious later on and they still face them even tho they know that they're facing a monster because they feel the need to save the world. I think they didn't have to give that vibe to the characters in the first book cuz they're still kids and they're still learning. Also they've missed the whole vibe of the book even though they went with the plot. I wouldn’t mind them changing a bit of the plot if they had added the small but important parts of the book for example Grover acting like a goat and eating non-edible things like paper and tin cans and bleating when he's nervous or like the time percy had to say hi to a poodle. These are the things that made it percy jackson and without these things the show will be boring ofc. Still I do appreciate some of the things that they did include like when Ares started a war on twitter or when they saw wild centaurs while on the Amtrak train (hope I spelled that right). I really hope they improve in season 2 but I don't think they can change it because the people who have not read the books will be like -"hey they were smart in the first season and knew what they were facing, why are they acting so dumb now?" But we book readers will only know that they had been like this all along and it was changed in the series😢

The movie were bad but at least they were fun. The show is supposed to be book accurate but boring. I only seen the first two episodes but the rest of the series went downhill even tho Rick is part of the production. Imagine PJO animated! Missed potential

Yeah I agree. I loved this show and am excited for season 2, but I hope they learn from their mistakes.
