Hi Ho Silver!
I planned to go to a dump site where a 19th century house used to stand, but the morning fog and deer hunters held me over at another site nearby owned by my parents. I intended to stay only a few hours, but after recovering my first silver coin ever, I couldn't help but stay all day!

Collecting Treasure Hunting Data and Looking Towards the Rest of the Year
มุมมอง 326 ปีที่แล้ว
It's been a terrible summer for treasure hunting in the water. Plus, I've been busy with school and my upcoming wedding. One of the classes I am currently taking has inspired me to create and design a database dedicated to historical research and recovery. It will be an ongoing, neverending project, but one that like a fine wine, will get better with time. What is a database?: th-cam.com/video/...
Exploring Another Old Farm
มุมมอง 266 ปีที่แล้ว
I pinpointed the exact location of where an old farm once stood and decide to do a small scouting mission and detect a few targets. I don't stay as long as I'd like, because my hunt is cut short after I see a poisonous snake slithering through the grass only a few feet away! But I do manage to find an early 19th century button, so we will be back at this site in the fall for sure!
Cooling Down With A Water Hunt
มุมมอง 316 ปีที่แล้ว
In this video, I return to the creek where I found my first belt buckle in attempt to uncover more old relics. Armed with the knowledge of research this time, I discover that the location is near an old canal that ran through the town, where old houses used to line the banks. The canal has since been replaced by a modern highway system. It's uncertain if I find anything from the 19th century, b...
My First Large Cent!
มุมมอง 376 ปีที่แล้ว
Back at the old farmhouse recently, this time hunting across the street at the ruins of the old barn. Got off to a slow start, but then better finds kept coming, including my first large cent! Just goes to show you that research pays off! I would've gotten more detecting done, but a storm front moved in.
Morel Mania Madness!
มุมมอง 256 ปีที่แล้ว
I recently came across some morchella, commonly known as "morels." They are a very prized and and very expensive fungus due to their rarity. And this is the first time I ever ate them. In this video, this fun guy eats some fungi. See what I did there? ; ) Always determine what the mushroom is before you decide on consuming. You should NEVER under any circumstances eat a mushroom raw, unless you...
Metal Detecting Ruins Of An Old Farmhouse
มุมมอง 946 ปีที่แล้ว
In this video, I check out my first permission ever! I've had permissions in the past from close friends and family, but this is the very first one I received from someone who I do not know personally. I metal detect the site of an old farmhouse, most likely built right after the Civil War. And the research paid off big!
Indian Summer Creek Detecting
มุมมอง 547 ปีที่แล้ว
Thanks to a warm jet stream of tropical air, likely caused by the recent hurricanes in the Atlantic Ocean, I was able to do another water hunt! This was a fun hunt and my best to date. The bedrock creek bottom was perfect for pulling out fishing sinkers. I find lots of interesting things, including not one, but TWO of my first "good luck" tokens and my first cell phone. And how ironic is it tha...
Back in Gettysburg
มุมมอง 2.5K7 ปีที่แล้ว
Join me as I return to my buddy's property just outside of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. This time the water conditions are much more favorable, and I find a tombac button!
Hunting for Civil War Relics
มุมมอง 467 ปีที่แล้ว
In this video I hunt my first Civil War related permission, just outside of Gettysburg. I don't find anything on land only because of the overgrowth, and unfortunately the creek was a bit too murky to go towards the deepest spots where heavier relics such as artillery shells, would've likely settled. I do however find old square nails with my new magnet pick, which is a good sign. The environme...
I Found an Antique Buckle, Plus My First Spoon!
มุมมอง 817 ปีที่แล้ว
Summer is officially here, which means the waterways are prime real estate for treasure hunting! I came back to a historic stream that I was at earlier in the year, but the water was too high. This time the conditions were near perfect. I find an old belt buckle (presumably Victorian), and some other neat odds and ends.

what part in gettysburg can you metal detect ?
Privately-owned land. This was a permission I gathered from a friend of mine.
*this a wonderful starter Metal Detector>>>**ur2.pl/1213** I gave this to my son last week. I now know where every stud and nail in the carpets are in our home :) It's been nasty cold in Ohio. Looking forward to hiking and exploring as it warms up. I am very tempted to purchase one for my self so we can "treasure" seek for fun.*
Great find, my good friend!
Can only go up from here!
23:45 That is a fuse used in old fuse boxes. My house was built in the 30s and has a fuse box just like that with a bunch of those fuses in em. Really cool things.
Yep, the screw design at the bottom threw me off at first. Thought it was some kind of lighting fixture.
It has been a hot tough summer for us all congrats on the cool musket ball and best of luck on your upcoming marriage. I subscribed !!
Sucess may Friends 👍🏼👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
BRASIL AVENTURA DETECTORISMO Gracias. ¡Feliz cacería!
awesome video
you live in a close neighbor hood, Electricist may give off fumes no one wants to breath. Great digs.
I LOVE rusty stuff!!!!
Was made for salt and fresh water mate
I have the AT Pro and the AT Max I ground balance manual down to 9-14 in wet sand i have no problems with falsing in wet sand and salt water. On the Max take threshold down to -3 to -5 senstivity on both to 50%-80%
That little Doo Hickey thing looks like an old car bulb socket !
iron stuff 3 are parts to the same longspring trap- jaw ,base and spring
I subscribed. Dirtfishing with Lane on TH-cam. Can you return the favor?
Lane Prater Subscribed! Thanks! : )
Jaw, spring, and frame to a steel leg hold trap.
You don't seem to enthused to get in the water...I'd be all over it...you gotta get in and get at it...don't be scared
ACE Champion I'm sorry, but I had every reason to be cautious when I hear of people drowning in the creeks and rivers every other week. Rain can make the water level substantially higher, and it doesn't take long. And when you can't see through the water clearly, all it takes is one misstep for a twisted ankle or getting stuck in a giant branch or log. I probably shouldn't have even got in that day, but I took the risk.
The divider thing is an old ice cube tray insert, the part on the top is where a handle was to pull up to seperate the cubes.
Dorie Brumm Nice! That's exactly what it is! Thanks!
Most definitely took me back to my childhood when I saw the aluminum ice tray...used to love to pull the handle and Crack the tray....we still use these I love them
i have 80 pcs originals for sale who want to buy i series Link 1 : www.mediafire.com/view/fg3x1tc62jpp5f9/WP_20170422_22_57_39_Pro.jpg Link 2 : www.mediafire.com/view/yse5qbg8ou1a48q/WP_20170422_22_58_19_Pro.jpg
Did all trash to find treasure......ring up a pull tab, dig....I almost left a gold ring in the sand about 3 years ago. I walked off came back I had already rang up pull tab, but I decided to dig and it was a 14 carat ring.....you just never know.....dig 1000 pull tabs and the next thing might be a ring. Thanks for video.....God bless...!
DirtBleep Digger Absolutely! It's a lot faster to dig all trash in the sand too, but I've started to dig more "trash" signals even on land. I almost left a tombac button behind that way!
I have the At Pro international and it goes great in the salt water. They were made for it.
I first played LttP in August of 1999. This is the greatest Zelda game ever made! You need Pegasus Boots to get the bees.
Totally agree! Matched closely by OOT in my opinion. And yes, I finally remembered the Pegasus boots! I just got them, and it's in a separate part which will follow soon!
buen video amigo,el at pro es una buena maquina para playa, ami me dio buenos resultados,me suscribo y te invito ami canal, saludos
Hey man, I fast found your channel from AquaChiggers. Here is a sub for you, can you sub me back?
+The Penny Picker Jericho-Joe You got it brother. Beau is a great guy! Used to live by him.
If I find work and get some money, we should go to Key West. The only places you can't metal detect in Florida are Cape Canaveral and leased property.
+Iceman0427 Florida is on my bucket list. HUGE amount of Spanish history, forgotten shipwrecks, and other treasures just waiting to be found.
I found my TH-cam niche with those "Let's Hike" vids. It looks like metal detecting & bottle hunting is your video specialty! Those glass bottles look like ones my grandfather had in his basement for decades. You can restore those Mountain Dew bottles and sell them collectors for some money. This video has a nice Fallout feel to it.
Haha, yes! I was feeling the whole Fallout vibe myself when I was scavenging through all of this. And when I saw those fire ants, I was like, "Oh man, rad ants!"
Grats on your finds... I also have a Garrett AT-Pro.. I have had it about month.. I like it.. well GL & HH
Bruce Y It's a great detector, isn't it?
Nice finds! Thanks for posting a beach hunt with the AT Pro. I just bought one but was unable to get used to it at the beach because of falsing. I usually hunt with a Minelab Excalibur II which is waterproof up to 200 feet below. The AT Pro is waterproof up to 10 feet. Thanks again for posting. Great video.
I would LOVE to get my hands on an Excalibur. I just can't justify getting one yet due to not being closer to the beach, but my wife and I have discussed moving to Myrtle Beach. Thanks for the subscribe! Happy Hunting!
If you are interested in getting an Excal II, let me know. I have a friend who is a dealer. He will give you a better price than you can imagine.
Joseph Lee I will keep that in mind. Thanks!
Nice job rescuing those coins from the sand! I noticed you swing the coil a good 2-3" above the surface. They make a hard plastic coil cover for the AT Pro and then you can swing it right on the surface itself without worrying about scratching the coil. It will give you those extra 2-3" or depth under the surface for some deeper targets. Just looking out for some fellow detector! Good luck out there
Thanks. I do own the coil cover, but had it off for detecting in the wet sand to compensate for the falsing in the wet sand.
