An excellent comprehensive overview of W&G's combat system. Well done! But there's an error in your area effect attack example. At 18:41 you correctly describe the Marine having to make a DN 3 Ballistic Skill (A) Test, but the illustration on the screen shows him making the Test with a dice pool of only 3 dice. Earlier, we were told that the Marine had a Ballistic Skill (A) dice pool of 7, so in this example, he should have rolled 7 dice against DN 3.

Listening to this reminded me So much of Vampire the masquerade in terms of the mechanics, especially with the "wrath" dice being so similar to the hunger dice.

something else to be said for those who also are into the wargame side of warhammer, you can get the Sisters Novitiate Kill Team, there's a hospitaller model in that as well, and it's nowhere near as big or fancy to paint. Though im sure that box wasnt out when this was posted.

I used Thaddeus as my model! I clipped the mace and gave hime a custom chainsword.

Thanks for the video! It helps a lot in my session preparation. I use your archetypes to create NPCs in my Imperium Maledictum campaign. And they appear to be very belieable and vivid. Players just love them! And I plan to include one more on my next session thanks to this video ;)

So glad to find something that lays this all out. I've always wanted to play a 40K RPG and figured I'd give this a try. I've never played any sort of tabletop game (always wanted to and been close but groups never work out) so combining the lack of experience with learning to play solo because I don't have anyone to play with is definitely daunting. Still I hope I can get somewhere with the help of video guides, the rule book and some determination. Cheers!
