Rode many of those 8000’s during my career on the UP, roughest riding units I ever was on.

I don't think it's a wise idea to show the public the steps necessary to start an engine. They have no need to know this stuff. An engineer on my service unit had hell rain down on him when he posted a video of himself doing just what you've done. He got back, but was off for months.... 1.6 took him out. Just saying....

That's a weird-looking grade crossing. Am I right in saying that the mainline is covered by the crossbucks but the track you're on isn't? So a mainline train would be required to blow the horn coming through the crossing, while you're not?
