Tips For Making A Concrete Jar With A Logo
What do you use for coloring. Brand
Hi, Thank you for watching. I use liquid pigments from Homeware Design Co - UK and also from Bramblier (Australia) I will put the links below for you. Bramblier www.bramblier.co/shop-1?Category=Pigments Homeware Design Co www.etsy.com/au/shop/HomewareDesignCo 😊
I love the color, beautiful🌸🌸
Thank you 😊
So pretty, Roz. I love the color!
Aww, thank you. 😊
ps..can you burn crackling wooden wicks in this type of stone cement?
Hi, and thank you for watching. Yes you can, I have just finished burning a salted caramel candle with a crackling wood wick.
Thankyou for sharing AU links for products..I would love to make a Hydrosol container and have a go at making my own candle went to the link provided but unfortunately they are our of stock for the hydrosol at the mo ..so heres hoping ...soon...I would love to make a fairly large candle for my patio as I sit outside for my night time smoke and I adore the pretty color swirls that you make ..looking forward to giving it ago....from Roslyn in Brisbane..
Hi , yes it is very hard to get at present. There is a company in Tassie, that sell a product that is also fine to use. I purchased some recently, but have not had a chance to use it yet. The company is called Bramblier this is their link www.bramblier.co/ I will do a video on it soon.
Are you using concrete?
Hello, I do use Cement All and Hydrostone, this one was made using Hydrostone. I hope this helps 😊
Where can I get a mold this large?
Need to try this love it
Hi, thank you. Yes, you should it is so much fun and exciting to see the end result. 😊
Can you share why add the titanium dioxide? I'm just starting. ❤
Hi, and thank you for watching. The titanium dioxide is for whitening. Cement All will give a more grey colour. I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any further questions. 😊
Hi there. I have a question. Can I use Mod Podge to seal these jars and trays??
Hi, and thank you for watching. I personally have never used that product. I have heard of people using it, but I am not sure what they are making. I have only ever used Earth Safe Sealer for any candle jars, as I know it is safe. There is also a company called Bramblier that now have a sealer that is safe for candle use. This is their link. www.bramblier.co/product-page/sealer-natural-matte-finish-water-based For trays, if coming into contact with food I use Howards Wax -It-All wax, as it is food safe. This is the link for them www.howardproducts.com.au/products/wax-it-all-255gm.html I hope this is of some help to you. Please reach out if yo would like any further information. 😊
It’s unique & I think has pizzazz! ❤️
Thank you, you are too kind. 😊
Very nice, Roz. 💖
Thank you.
Do you have the desire to cooperate with us here in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia?
Hi
Very pretty pour!
Thank you so much, and for watching. .😊
Makes sense! After re-watching your video I took notice that your cement and water ratio is a lot thinner than mine.
Hi, thank you for watching. I am glad to see this has helped you out. Feel free to reach out for any questions. 😊
I needed a sealer so this was very helpful
Hi, thank you for watching. I am happy to hear this has helped you, feel free to reach out if you have any questions. 😊
VERY nice, my friend! I’m in love with the pink & black vessel! Do you remember which pigment you used for that pink? I have all of Homeware Designs pigments. Lol.
Thank you friend. That pigment is a powder oxide that I purchased from a local home and garden store. It is a red mixed with a small amount of titanium dioxide. Maybe I could mix some and ship it to you?😊 The Homeware Design I use mainly in Hydrostone.
@@roccdecorfragrances It is such a pretty color! I have some dry pigments, but not in a pink, or red. Mine are more earth tone colors. Your vessels just always look so very well done & beautiful.
@@MackieJackCreations Thank you so much for your kind words, and support. 😊😊
🤓Looks awesome! I’m curious, did the paint cause divots where it was more concentrated?
Thank you, and thank you for watching. It can if you have the cement mixture too thick, I also like to tap a fair bit which also smooths it out. 😊
Soooooo beautiful, Roz!! 🌷🌻
Hi, how are you? Thank you!
I’m doing well, thanks! I’ve received 4 new molds that I’m very excited to try out. Hoping they turn out as beautiful as yours! Are you still doing candles???
@@MackieJackCreations That is good. I am sure they will look lovely. Yes, I have been testing some new wicks, and trying some double wicking with some that were not performing well with a single wick. I am trying to do a video on making a candle in the next couple of weeks.
@@roccdecorfragrances That’s great! I will watch for it. I’m not doing candles as much, but still do every now and then. I have changed my business up a lil, and am now auctioning shoes/clothing, and making my own custom tees & hats. I have really gotten into making the tabletop fire pits. I enjoy it so much.
@@MackieJackCreations I purchased the tabletop fire pits about a year ago, but haven't made one yet.
Gorgeous Roz! 💕❤️💕
Thank you! 😊
Super pretty 😍 love
Thank you! 🤗
Hi Roz, love your videos, beautiful work. I noticed in one of your other videos that you were looking into becoming a stockist for the earthstone sealer. Just wondering if you have that in stock yet. Thankyou so much ❤
Hi, and thank you for watching. Nancy said she was looking into freight companies, I have followed up a couple of times but I am still yet to hear back. Sorry!!
Looked online for mold was not shown anywhere on the site😢
Hi, thank you for watching. This is the the link for the seashell mould. boowannicole.com/en-au/collections/all-concrete-jesmonite-molds/products/mystic-seashell-tray-silicone-mold I hope this helps. 😊
Amazing :) Thank you for this video !!
You're welcome, thank you for watching 😊
Roz, which candle vessel is this? Very pretty.
Hi, that is the 4" tulip from Modern Craft Labs. I have just started purchasing a similar shape I like better from an Australian supplier called the bloom. Their company is Lemoulds, and they are in Tasmania. Dirk from there has made a couple of moulds for me now. Thank s again for watching. 😊
@@roccdecorfragrances I love it. I’m in the US, so was wondering a couple things. 1. Is there a discount code for Lemoulds? 2. This mould, you said is a 4 inch? I’m assuming after looking at their website, that it is the 9.2 cm picture? I’m not used to cm’s, but if my conversion is right, that should be the mould you have here? Thanks so much Roz. Oh, one more question .. 1. The Princeton Jar, did that come from Lemoulds also, or Canadian Moulds??? Thanks for your help!
@@MackieJackCreations Hi, I am not sure if they have a discount code, maybe email and ask them. The Bloom mould is a 4' diameter, Inside diameter is 10cm and 6.4cm H. The Princeton jar is from Kirsty and Bill at Canadian Silicone Molds. You are very welcome. 😊😊
@@roccdecorfragrances I ordered 2 moulds from Dirk at Lemoulds yesterday, & told him you had referred me. I did get a 5% discount as a new buyer. I will wait a bit for the Princeton mould. It’s beautiful, but $$$ …. 😂
@@MackieJackCreations Oh thank you, and I am glad to hear that you received a discount. Every little bit helps. I hope you like it as much as I do. 😊😊
After I see your video I wanna start making that myself. May you shear where should I buy all that staff and hydrostone itself. Please ❤🎉
Hi, thank you for watching. I purchase the hydrostone from a company in Sydney called Barnes. That along with the other items I use are listed in the description part of the video. If there is an item missing please let me know. 😊
@@roccdecorfragrances Canada!... Shipping to USA more than 40$!!!😭
@@vitavi2800 It can cost me over $60 from South Australia to New South Wales.
@@roccdecorfragrances right but that just 40$ for shipping and 50$+, hydrostone it'self!
@@vitavi2800 It is expensive, I can pay $104 per bag, and shipping can be anywhere form $15.00 - $60.00 . Just need to shop around.
Πολύ ωραίο ❤
Thank you 😊
Wow! One of my faves of yours!! Gorgeous. 😃
Hi, yes this one has been very popular.
Very nice, Roz! Congrats on your new name. I will miss “Coconut Coast Candles,” but look forward to new adventures with your new name.
aawww, thank you so much! I will have to watch your page also.😊
Where did you get that mold? I love it
Hi and thank you for watching. I purchased that one from Shein there were two sizes. 😊
@@roccdecorfragrances thanks very much!
@@denisewhitehead7480 you’re welcome 😊
Beautiful Roz!!!!!
Thank you 😊
I LOVE that mold. Looks really nice, Roz. Excited for your name change. Best of luck!
Oh, thank you so much. 😊
Love! Where did you get this mould Roz?
Hi, I purchased that mould from Temu. 😊
What would be the difference waiting 10-13 mins time for hydrostone than to just mix instantly please?
Hi, thank you for watching. If you mix straight away it will be very chalky on the bottom, and you will not have a nice smooth finish.
@@roccdecorfragrances thank you 😊
What pigments do you use? ❤
Hi, thank you for watching. I use pigments from Homeware Design Co, they come from the UK this is the link instagram.com/homewaredesignco/ I hope this helps. 😊
Hi..can i ask you what you seal it with please
Hi, thank you for watching. I use Earth Safe Preserver Sealer this is the IG link instagram.com/earthsafefinishes/ I hope this helps. 😊
Thank you for your video. Can you tell me how you achieve the colors in hydrostone? Do you use pigment in a small amount of hydrostone and then pour them together or is it something else? Thanks for your help.
Hi, thank you for watching, and sorry for the late reply. I use 1 drop of each colour for most give them a swirl with a wooden skewer and pour. I hope this helps.😊
Hiya, I was wondering if you seal the exterior as well? I've just started experimenting with Hydrostone and the base of my molds feels quite chalky like I should seal it. Thank you
Hi, Thank you for watching. If your jars are very chalky on the bottom, you may not be letting the mixture sit for long enough before mixing. I normally let my sit for around 12-15 minutes depending on the weather. If it is hot around 10. I hope this helps. 😊
@@roccdecorfragrances thanks so much, will definitely try that as have only let mine sit for about 5/6mins. Also regarding the sealer, I was just wondering where you get the earth safe one from? Thank you
Hi I buy that directly from Earth Safe in the US. 😊😊@@RJ-LE

Hi. Thank you, and thank you so much for watching 😊
I have a question, how do you know how much hydrostone to use per size of mold your using.
Hi, Thank you for watching. I started using cement all, so I had a rough idea from that. I can make two of the same jars, one with Cement All and one with Hydrostone I will use less Hydrostone than I will Cement All. 😊
Hi there... what's the use of titanium dioxide u mostly mix in?? Really love your work..
Hi, thank you for watching. For these jars I normally use about 6 grams. 😊
@@roccdecorfragrances And what's the purpose of adding this??
@@amnaattique4518 It changes the cememt from looking grey in colour to white. 😊
@@roccdecorfragrances ok thankyou so much 4 your reply. Love your work 🙂🙂
@@amnaattique4518 thank you, and you’re welcome 😉
What kind of pigment are you using?
Hi, thank you for watching, and apologies for the late reply. In this video I used coloured pigments form a company called Design Homeware Co.😊
