I remember reading/hearing that Morissette didn't like the edit. I don't know if that's true but I've always thought her vocals were a really smoky contrast to the rapid drums and electric sound. It's an brilliant track and I really like it even without her vocals. Bonus points if you can find the mix it was in (I think it was Kiss100), which is also excellent.
