I'm just a noob but at 8:30 after you ravaged the main mineral line I was thinking about sending a muta to all the east side bases just to make sure there isn't anything hidden. Then place a couple mutas on the center cliffs to have some vision seeing as there weren't any ovies out in the map. Then kill the sair and mass units because an all in was imminent imo.

What rank was this? It felt like watching a pretty high lvl game. Both you and that terran seemed to have great reaction times, and you both kept your armies in good shape and kept teching and expanding. Not sure how this matchup works these days, I think in the past Mutas were a lot more dominating and were able to wittle down turrets and marines indefinitely until the Terran finally gains critical mass and goes for a death push. The Valkyries were not so strong before remastered right? They are just able do dish more missiles out now without the cap on their rockets on screen.

Zerg actually has the advantage over Protoss at all levels of play. Tasteless did an analysis of ladder winrate statistics and found how disadvantaged Protoss is in this matchup. Doesn't even matter what your MRR is , protoss always is disadvantaged in this matchup Unlike other matchups where at some MMRs one faction does better, or other factions do better at a different MMR level

nice. Speaking of weird builds I recently started opening +1 carapace 3 hatch hydra (starting hydra den and evo at the same time) into hydra lurker transition, on this map specifically. ZvT. The alternating high ground strips really make it easy to hold early M&m pushes and you have insurance for against valks, wraith and ither and mech switches :p
