The thing about these gigantic trucks that really impresses me is that they illustrate just how *weak* steel actually is. Compare the mass of that load to what an ordinary dump truck can carry vs the mass of the truck. The strength of steel does not scale very far upward.

WARNING! High wages and a boring job can lead to serious drug use. The novelty of the equipment is very short lived. It becomes no different then a riding mower,only bigger but you dont generally spend 10hrs a day 6 days a week running it. Gravel pits are the absolute worst with nothing but grey walls of material surrounding you. It's a better gig then manual labour but the boredom really is unbearable at times and I've spent alot if time in jail.

All of them look like they are bad to the bone! How about the cabin heating for the operator? Which one gets that done all the time?
