I just got back to Mirage, and... Well, the city is very lively and pretty, but lacks the atmosphere that similar city of Istanbul has in AC Revelations. Comparing to Revelations, the tools also work less well in Mirage and even after all the updates, traps and bombs still feel iffy and underpowered in combat. Various mission settings and secrets also have less impact than in previous games. The cave where you unlock the Isu gear was especially underwhelming, and also, it took me only an hour or so to collect the shards needed to unlock the Isu gear pieces. In AC Origins, hunt for the constellations and so on was far more involving, so unlocking the Isu armor there felt like genuine achievement. Same with the spear upgrades in AC Odyssey. So, while Mirage is ok, it just is not as good as any of the previous ACs.
