Creo que ya te despedías. Stuart . Siempre admire Big country un solo disco compré el primero que hicieron y nunca lo olvide ahora los escucho en TH-cam gracias chicos.
that little melody on the guitar ... as catchy as fields of fire ... can't not like it, if you know the feeling ... unreleased song ... goes well with the few notables on NPLH, 'keep on dreaming' esp., but also 'comes a time/you me truth', 'kiss goodbye/freedom song', 'rep p reptile'. rest NPLH washout. 'beautiful people': good lyric, shite arrangement/song. only drawback on this song: rhythm guitar is in parts too loud/distorted/dense/not quite right. v noticeable on ear phones. Watson could do some great rhythm parts. But sometimes...no. But it is "only" a demo. Way drum mic'd, sounds live.
This was let down by the arrangement. I'm always meaning to get on Audacity and chop that horrible stilted bit out, and replace it with the full on Adamson lriff from the start.
Strange how a band didn't release a whole lot of songs that were better than the ones they did during the 1990s and then wondered why their career declined. I guess it was down to audience and record company expectations to always play loud.
@@cejannuzi yep. They lost their way in the 90's. Poor de usions, made. They came back strongly with Driving To Damascus. Only one album I'd say was poor. Shame really. The number of quality songs, not on albums is unbelievable. Stuart wrote great songs over 20 years. Now when did the "great" songwriters last write a decent number. You go to concerts and play the old stuff because the well was dry long ago. Jus' sayin'
@@djpriddin6211 PIOT was poor. Wrong tracks on NPLH. Self produced albums in the 90s were brilliant though. Damascus was a gem . Steeltown best. Management crap
@@padraigsisk4057 I agree there, Padraig. PIOT wasn't a good album, I have to admit. I bought the expanded version as well in 2010 (?) when it was reissued with the demos on Disc 2. Disc 2, as a BC fan, you probably have and know that, that would stand alone as, one of the best if it had been released. You lose your dreams, not waving etc etc. Marvellous tracks. , I could be happy here and esp everything I need better than the released versions. Stay alive Regards Dj

how the hell did this band never make it to the very top...superb stuff :)
I agree- hard to believe.
They were at the top unfortunately most people don’t know good music
After all these years, still my absolute favorite band of all time, talented, unique, and the best live shows I've ever seen, the music never gets old
This is so weird I've always loved this song and thought about my heros the scotish Patriots of ww1 it's so weird someone else thought the same
smiley. and then silence.

Not this time around #THESTORM
#TRUST THE PLAN
This has 'radio hit' written all over it. What on earth were they thinking?!
Radio stations wouldn't know a hit if it struck them in the face
As a big country fan of years I have never heard this before tonight , love this . Shared .
Nice song but very c/w. Prefer their rockier stuff. Not into c/w. But love them since 1983.
I CAN LISTEN TOO THIS TYPE OF MUSIC ALL NIGHT...LOVE IT....

Tjonge, wat een juweeltje! Wanneer heeft Stuart Adamson dit geschreven? (Wow, wat a gem! When did Stuart Adamson wrote this?)
Love it! Shared ;->
Fantastic song..... it's like a drug.....after the first time you hear it, you can't live without.
Lol, that was Adamson's brilliance backed by the greatest band ever.
Simply a CLASSIC!

Love this song..... big country fan.
