Join me as I return to the enchanting streets of Edinburgh for the first time in five years! In this video, I revisit my favourite haunts, from Calton Hill to the National Portrait Gallery, while uncovering the city’s rich history. Get ready for a chilling adventure as we explore some of Edinburgh’s spookiest graveyards, delving into their eerie tales of poltergeists and rating which one was our favourite.
We then leave the city behind us to explore the breath-taking Forth Rail Bridge at Queensferry. We marvel at this architectural masterpiece, and take in the stunning views from underneath the bridge at night before our final day, where we explore a very wet and windy Blackness Castle!

ABOUT ME:
“I have always been a dreamer, praying that one day I would do something big. But the truth is that “one day” only comes if you chase after it, so that’s exactly what I did…”
In pursuit of my dreams, I headed for the hills of the beautiful Staffordshire Moorlands and to the most magical place I know, Alton Towers. Now living close by, I count my blessings each time I hear the roar of the roller-coasters from across the valley. For nowhere am I more inspired as I experience the lift hills, dive drops, and corkscrews of the ride - that is, writing my first novel.
Originally born in East Anglia, I grew up on a haunted farm in the dark depths of Norfolk where an early encounter with one of its former residents inspired a lifelong curiosity for all that is strange and unexplained. As a result, I spent much of my childhood exploring the local churchyards where I exchanged ghost stories with my friends and developed an early love of Gothic.
My curiosity for all that is strange and unusual has never waned and I find myself still fascinated by anything that challenges my perception of the world. This curiosity is at the heart of the stories I love to write and the subjects I love to explore.
When I am not writing, I love nothing more than taking my camera on adventures be it exploring the ruins of Alton Towers, abandoned buildings, or village churches.
