Not to sound egotistical but back in May of this year he queued with avexys and drix and some amateur pro player. I was piecing these boys up left and right absolute DOMINATING them. It’s actually the reason I started to upload because I felt I was actually starting to get good enough that I could share my gameplay. I’m not a perfect player by any means and I hope my gameplay inspires people to see that you can perform well while making mistakes here and there. Consistency is better than perfectionism.

it was not an active and just out of kill range thank god. Had it been an active I would’ve been dead, but I pressured the fxck out of him with the lancer and he panicked and didn’t aim properly. A small W but very very important.

I just wanted a place I could upload my gameplay in the future I could show people around me. If it works it works if it doesn’t it doesn’t. I think it would be cool though to see how far I could take this. But brick by brick we will see.

@@viralcomedyclips_ Damn bruh, thank you the kind words I appreciate it. I have been playing this game since 2006 I grew up on it, my favorite before Gears 5 was Gears of War 3. Gears of war 3 introduced a tremendous skill gap that had a lot of potential. The thing that held 3 back though was the limitations of hardware/internet. Nowadays we have 5 which to me is a superb version of Gears of War 3. 5 has really brought out the best Gears of War multiplayer experience out of all of them and done it in such an amazing way. Sure it’s not perfect but no game is and you should never expect that. I love this game and I feel I’ve got a lot more to learn and improve on and it makes me excited knowing I’m not at my best, it just makes me want to get better and better.

@@onealr At least for me when I played controller, I wanted to be able to gather information faster and actually use precision weapons. Mnk lets you play the you want by kinda giving you endless options in what you want to do. Controller is extremely restrictive to me.

It’s not a meaningless kill with the boom I was securing good spawn for my team. You can see after I get the kill and the scion leaves I try to stand on top of where my teammate spawns, I do that on purpose so we can hopefully hang on to that spawn throughout the hills life span. On that hill getting that spawn is important because it’s more advantageous for holding/retaking the hill if we lose it. My team just loses fights and gets wiped thus giving us bad spawn and that’s why we lost pretty much all of that hill. There’s a reason the title is “Breaking my monitor one game at a time.” It’s because my team sucks and it’s up to me to make plays like that, had someone already been there securing spawn I would’ve held next with the boom shot.

@@onealr night and day difference, you do need an upgraded monitor. But it’s the best experience I’ve ever had upgrading.

Hahaha! Thanks man, I don’t initiate toxic behavior ever but when someone wants to play those games I’ll play them back. To me it’s just a mental game of trying to get in the others head, because when they’re doing that they’re trying to make themselves feel better. So when you do it back to them it puts them in a stressed state and usually makes them play worse.

@@ddogs4ever I honestly think that Amd graphics cards are optimized better for Gears 5. Just from what I’ve seen they have less issues and provide more FPS. It could be settings within your Nvidia Program too that might be holding you back. But I don’t know much about Nvidia graphics settings, I’m only familiar with Amd’s.

@@ddogs4ever Also I have a Rx 7900xt which is equivalent to a 4070ti. So it’s a pretty good and relatively new graphics card.

18 years of experience and running Mnk with good teammates is a recipe for destruction.

@@TastyTurkey9 I actually do not! Haha it’s weird but I like the fact that everyone looks the same. I don’t care about what skin you have or what prestigious emblem your character has equipped. I just care about how you play with/against me. Skins can blend in with certain map backgrounds and other skins can either stand out. So in order to get rid of that I just uninstalled all skins and play on a consistent level.
