Bashing the maxx with erevo 2.0 tires. They did catch on the body a lot, and, because it was on 3s, slowed down the acceleration. They did, however, keep it from rolling over as much.

Good no nonsense video. I thought mine had the wheelie bar( I found one behind my house in a ditch, thought it was mine) I ended up ordering a new one because my Revo has no mount. I have no idea where the wheelie bar came from I found.

A year later and I just followed your steps installing the wheelie bar on my brand new erevo and it worked perfectly thx for uploading this made it much easier to install than the directions they give you with the kit 👍

It says what they were in the description.
It will cause cogging with the stock gearing. (If you’re still on the stock electronics). 20/50 is good gearing for these tires.
@@DeRock401 by about how much would you say it slows it down?
@@joezze-bear it doesn't slow it down. It causes the motor to cog. Which is like stuttering when you accelerate and reverse. But all you have to do is go down a few teeth on the pinion

No, I was just testing it out and I put the stock tires back on later.

How many times did you practice
Not very many.
Youd be surprised how competitive this time may be. Others on dry ground will over effort and slow themselves down. Doing it on snow may be key.

Sounds like a metal spur gear? That or a dying diff 😅. You do any upgrading to it?
Yes, metal spur gear. I was tired of replacing the plastic one every time I took it out.
The metal gear did also kill a diff.
@@rapidprototyping993 huh, that’s weird I haven’t had any issues with my plastic spur in almost a year of owning and bashing the hell out of my revo, not sure if you have the fixed motor mount or not but that’s pretty odd
