Do axis stand a chance ?
@@frederikvoets5298 not entirely. We had to stop playing because of home issues but when we ended Italy and Germany were in a good spot while Japan not so much
@redbulltanker194 so axis can win ?
@ I honestly don’t know. We only got 3 turns in before we had to stop

Cost of game and where can the game be bought.
@@jefferywilson3279 you’ll need Axis and Allies Europe and Pacific from here. They cost about $100 each. renegadegamestudios.com/axis-and-allies-home The rule set for 1939 can be found here, www.axisandallies.org/forums/topic/32236/oztea-s-1939-global-setup?page=1 and the extra pieces and markers here, www.historicalboardgaming.com

Good luck with the repairs.
This is such a cool map where can I get one?

Interesting stuff developing

Great video.. bad luck for the Royal Navy this turn
@@andreweast410 I’m more disappointed in the RAF. They had the worst rolls lol
Very interesting variant of 40.
@@Hunt.LikeDavid yeah I found it on one of the A&A forums a while back
Nice overview. Good job. Have you played Global War 1939
@@Hunt.LikeDavid no I have not. I have been aware of HBG’s Global War games for a while, but the price is alittle steep just for the map alone. Though I guess I haven’t seen the price for 1939 in awhile. I know GW1936’s smallest map is the like $150
@redbulltanker194 I hear ya and 39 Ultra adds a lot more units increasing the cost again. 39 map is 100 USD
@@Hunt.LikeDavid that’s a little cheaper lol. I might have to look into that. I did get HBGs Operation Unthinkable and Korean War games and though have been fun
@redbulltanker194 Fantastic. I have been running 39 games for a while now. It's definitely worth the investment.
Seeing this map I realize how boring and dull 1942 is. I am so pissed the Canadian game company made the digital edition of the worst and most stupid A&A game and then go bankrupt
@@Juvelira 1942 was my first global A&A game. I didn’t mind it in the beginning but the more I played the more I wanted an expanded game. once I discovered the 1940 editions there was no going back. If I’m playing a global game the 1940 game is only one I’ll play
@redbulltanker194 yeah, definitely much better variant
@ definitely. And now I just look for different ways to play with this map
@@redbulltanker194 map is just gorgeous, but wouldn't it take too long for an entire game? There are so many regions. Just China has more regions than the whole of Europe in 1942
@ not really. In 1940 your focus is taking a certain number of victory cities rather than territories though territories help with building your bank
Beautiful map! Is it vinyl?
@@Malbeefance no it’s just the original out of box maps
insane setup
@@MrJackal00 it so far has been a fun one I’ll say that, lol
Great video, are there going to be videos of the Axis turns somewhere?
@@andreweast410 unfortunately no. Airsoft Commando doesn’t own this game himself so I’ll be doing overviews of the Axis turns before I go into the current turn I on.
Should be a good view. Lets get rollin!
@@christopherwilson2606 FEC Turn 1 is up!
My Dad has this board game. It takes place in WW2, if i recall correctly it takes place in the middle of it, maybe 1942. He really loved playing the game with his friends both the physical version and on computer, but most versions dont seem to be sold anymore and are too old to be ran on computer. I dont know much about the game cause it is waaay out of my generation, even though i love WW2 stuff like playing tank and ship games. Would you happen to know where I could find or buy the othee versions of A&A? It would make as a good gift and i could probably pick up on the game too.
@@JakeVulcano so you have basically three options. Amazon, Renegade Studios, or joining different Axis and Allies groups on Facebook. Honestly though, Renegade is your best option since they picked up the rights to A&A. Here’s the link. renegadegamestudios.com/axis-and-allies-home

Which side are you playing?
@@paulcooverjr.6947 for 1914, I’m playing France and the US. For Operation Chromite I’m playing as North Korea and China
You got two games going on at once thumbs 👍 . Dedicated
@@paulcooverjr.6947 yes I do, lol. Mainly because there can sometimes be gaps in schedules between me and the guy I’m playing with so I decided to throw a second game to cover the dead space
German navy needs to get in the fight!!! Allies are building an unsinkable bridge! Just my thoughts
@@paulcooverjr.6947 true but Germany sort of is blockaded. To break out they would have to go around Scotland which puts them at the mercy of the Allied Navies. They could go for a big battle but they’d probably lose. With things in Russia going decently well Germany probably hold shift some production over to the Navy now
@redbulltanker194 no doubt, probably why I lose alot, lol.
@@paulcooverjr.6947 it kinda sucks for Germany because in the beginning you can’t really go in to build up your navy because you have to keep the west and east properly supplied with ground forces or else you run the risk of being overrun, especially in the west
@redbulltanker194 agree, I'm always overly aggressive with the navy at the start just to try an slow the west down long enough to disrupt Russia long enough. Gotten mixed results. Looking forward for more videos. Fun to see other strategies!
@ yeah I’ve done that a few times and usually it never works out for me lol
Good idea and good game! I saw you axis and allies global ww1 game with the G40 board. One thing I did was I used the G40 board but with global war 36 rules and special units and abilities. I think it would be a good idea to try to do the same thing but with global 1914 rules on the G40 board. I would like to see you try that. I am also almost done with a version I am making with global 1914 rules but on the axis and allies ww1 board. I also included the Spanish civil war for the g36 version and for the g14 game I made the Balkan wars.
I’ve toggled with the idea several times of doing G40 with GW36 rules, or even G40 with GW1914 rules. My only thing with that is the rule books are so in depth and long that I struggle to get through them to learn all the rules for the game, but I am trying. Maybe that’ll be something I try next year
I've never heard of this game, and I don't know exactly why youtube pointed me to these videos, but honestly seems like a good time, always liked these sorts of wargames ^^
@@shadowbuddy8034 Axis and Allies 1914 came out I think like 10 years ago or more. It was always kinda on the expensive side but it was re-released last year and was a little cheaper so I decided to pick it up

Where did you get the map? I like it but jt does need a little work. And also where did you get the helicopter pieces? The others came from ana G40 i think.

My suggestion is that, if North Korea captures Seoul, it can only build units in Seoul if the province has a connection to Pyongyang. Additionally, North Korea should only be able to deploy a maximum of 10 points worth of units in Seoul each round, to emphasize the fact that the majority of NK forces have to come from its home territory.
@@kinglyoko6683 what do you mean by 10 points?
@@redbulltanker194 whatever the term is for unit cost
@@kinglyoko6683 hmmm not sure about that but I’ll make a note of it. Definitely will be playing this again and switching sides to get the other perspective
I think it is a little ridiculous that US and UN forces are considered to be the same quality as the North Korean/Chinese forces, given the game's rules. Because of that, North Korea plays far stronger than it should, and then China's ability to enter the war so easily just weighs the situstion even farther in the North's favor.
@@kinglyoko6683 I definitely see what you’re saying and Ill admit that rules regarding China might need some changing. Though i will say that as far as nations being on par you see the same thing in Axis and Allies with Italy. They were not the best army in the war and yet they are placed on par with everyone else in the game.
Since Soviet pilots were actually active in North Korea as early as November 1950, not starting in Jan/Feb 1951 as you claim in the video, I think this was a harmless mistake and you did a great job with correction hahaha.
@@kinglyoko6683 correct Soviet pilots were active early, but the earliest encounter I’ve read of UN planes engaging MiGs was around Jan 1951 so that’s why I placed their implantation into the game around that point in the calendar, but you do raise a good point and I’ll definitely consider moving them up a turn so they come in around Nov/Dec of 1950
Love the US Divisions, but hate to see them doing so poorly.
@@CaptainG9318 I was very happy when I found those on HBG. Granted they don’t have all the infantry divisions, and I made makeshift ones but I love having them and they make giving the updates fun. Yeah the dice have not been fairing well for the Americans and their Allies this game
I like the Soviet Migs added here. Very nice. Love the variable China entry rule.
@@CaptainG9318 Yeah not having any jets in the game seemed off since Korea was the first real jet war. And it’ll be interesting to see how this variable entrance goes, but at least the Chinese will have a better chance of coming into the game than not at all like the last one, hahaha
Gimme jets!
@@airsoftcommando3354 no, lol
