SIR CHANGE OF OIL NOT VISABLE CLEARLY AND SUFFICIENTLY.PLEASE LOADS ON VIDEO VISABLE
Good video, thanks for the info I have the same tractor.
Wanna sale it ?
How do I turn on that pto :/
what we have to do if we have linkig oil from all the tracor once stopped ?
Nice, I just got a 3600 diesel with a loader. Of course the first day I ran out of fuel. And with the loader on, you can not pivot the battery tray out of the way to bleed injector number 1. Then the starter solenoid died. These things take time. I will get it going again.
Great video, thank you! I love my 81' and need to do this, and perfect primer. Will look for the fuel and transmission change next. 🙂
Excellent Work
thanks.
Hi at 5:10 you take off the bottom of the air filter what type of oil would I put in there? Engine oil?
yes. just engine oil.
@@humblebeginningshomestead9967thank you
Hi mate, i have lost all air filter oil (leaked out). Could u please advice how much i need to fill it up,?? Thanks@@humblebeginningshomestead9967
Outa my 30 none hatched haha
What is the oil filter number for the 3600 tractor
@rlove75 NAPA Purolator F10M20F1.
Thank you
your welcome
It froze didnt it?Bulb needed to be a heat light
@johndoe5218 nope. it has never froze. a light bulb is all the heat it needs. I've done it for almost 30 years.
@@humblebeginningshomestead9967 Looked to me like you just did it and not 30 years ago.Good luck you R rating on the foam board is what 7.5 at best.I think I’ll double mine and wrap the outside the tin it plus a heat bulb.Frozen water lines suck
@@johndoe5218dude.. use your brain for just one minute. He did it for 30 years at the house he grew up in. That’s why he knew to do it here. What else do you need help with?
Late to the party. Great video, i have the same tractor so subscribed to see more! Can you tell me what filter you put on? I can't seem to find a definitive answer online.
@lincolnsterwart6919 thank you sir!! if you will leave another comment in the morning I will get you the information on the oil filter. I'll be honest I'm very forgetful. lol
@@humblebeginningshomestead9967 thanks! Any luck getting that info?
@@lincolnstewart6919 I can’t find anything specific in my manual. But I am running a purolator part number f10h20f1 I believe I got it at Napa or carquest.
Great, thats a place to start! Thank you@@humblebeginningshomestead9967
Excellent video. You are correct, there aren't many videos of step by step maintenance for the Ford 3600. I'm currently doing my first maintenance round as I just got the tractor about 18 months ago. Please keep the videos coming! Lol, I've got good overall mechanical knowledge, but tractors are absolutely new to me. Thanks again
thanks for subscribing.
What is the horsepower FORD 3600
@pashampranay9336 3600 gasoline is 40 and diesel is 39.2. hope that helps.
Great video. This will help with my 4600.
Your right there isn’t a lot of video’s for the 3600 and I’m glad that you shared this. Looking forward for more video’s on the 3600.

Hi sir , i m from india , i have one doubt we use 20w40 grade oil in our ford 3600 tractor and I didn’t have company book so can u tell me whether 15w40 is recommended by company or 20w40 or any other grade
according to the manual it takes SAE 30. in extreamly hot environments like India it calls for SAE 5W. I hope this helps. thanks for watching.
Thanks so much for the video I have a 1967 Ford 3600 diesel Tractor and my water pump just went out and your video helped me and my dad get it done 👍
thats awesome!! your very welcome. I'm glad I was able to help.
I have also Ford 3600 year 1990 and different fenders ❤️
Well, this is probably too late, but you can buy a $20 tool for those fence clips called the clip bender. Will save you lots of time sin your future fencing endeavors.
thanks bud! I have fencing pliers but lost them somewhere here on the farm. lol.
Thanks for your video. What is the lowest freezing degree in your area?
it will get into the teens.
Good video. I have a 3600 also and was wondering if you do need some power steering fluid in your pump, is there a specific type or brand that is recommended ? Thanks, Timmie
according to the owners manual it calls for Ford M2C41-A fluid. hope that helps.
@@humblebeginningshomestead9967 , thanks a lot !
any time. thanks for watching.

What brand is your mower? It’s hard to find a ‘trailed’ or drawbar mounted brush hog mower.
I think it's bush hog brand.
it's not a 3 point. it's a drag behind.
900 hours ??????
yes. only 900 hours.
Impossible. Somebody changed the dash and you lost the original hours. 900 is just impossible.
it's not Impossible. this was an old man's tractor that only had 6 acres to farm. it wasn't used much.
Reptile heaters are way more reliable than light bulbs. Up north I use 3 or 4 at one time and haven't lost one in five or six years. With light bulbs you always wonder if they burnt out. Enjoyed your video as I will be redoing my well house this fall.
never thought about that. good idea. thanks.
Are you leaving TH-cam, because I miss your videos Jason.
@juliet germanotta, you are so sweet. no we are not leaving youtube. we have been going through some challenges in our life and picking up the camera has been hard to do. but it is comments like this that make me want to make a video. I will try to put one out soon. God bless you.

yes
@@humblebeginningshomestead9967 I am glad you do, I have binge watching your channel since I found it and had not seen anyone but you and that adorable 👧 little girl. I thought after I typed it you were thinking I was very personable ,not trying to be at all😇
@Hilda McLawhorn thank you for watching. I really appreciate the kind words and support. I often ask myself I'd this I'd worth it. then people like you leave nice comments. my other half don't like to be on camera as much. but you will see her every now and then. if you look at the video coming our in about an hour she is in it a lot.
Your little girl is adorable and very smart🥰
thank you. she is a blessing for sure.
Wouldn’t using heat tape/cable be better?
no. I'm not just trying to keep the pipes from freezing. it's the tank and pump to. by using a bulb it keeps the air inside the well house above freezing. keeping the entire system from freezing.
Hi. What kind of foam board?
@WhiskeyHotel it's just 2 inch foam board from lowes. comes in a 4x8 sheet.
Very Nice! You might want some 8 ft fencing to keep the deer out though. They can come in and wreak havoc. They ate down my newly planted apple trees. Dogs are really nice to have around the farm. I feel more comfortable when my son is with his dogs when walking around the property. We have coyotes, wolves, bears, and cougars. blessings!
Congrats on your new baby! :) I find it hysterically funny to watch cows running. I never knew before having cattle that cows could run that fast! They know what is in that bucket too. I am sure your neighbor told you about the selenium deficiency in the States. I give my animals loose salt mixed with the minerals rather than the salt blocks. My cows like it, but my goats love that stuff. I find that it is key for the nanny goats to have it so they can get pregnant and not have muscle issues, just fyi. Blessings!
they definitely know what a bucket is. lol it is pretty funny. thank you for watching.
May the Lord bless you and your family! We too took up homesteading, just not the vlogging. It is a lot of work but it is rewarding! The kids will love living and learning on the farm. The animals can be a lot of work to care for but knowing where your meat, eggs, veggies come from, especially during the plandemic, has a whole lot of benefits! Be encouraged, it is a good life! Blessings!
@ForHisGloryPsalm91 thank you for the kind words. and thank you for subscribing! we love our little farm. we don't know what we are doing but we learn every day. as far as the vlogging, it's harder than the farm work. but I wanted to show people that it can be done even if you don't know what you are doing and you can start from scratch like us. it seems so many other homesteading youtubers are established in their farm. not many starting from scratch.
