I love the fact that the music still playes after you captured the sector leaving you traumatized wondering how you even survived.

The beginning feels like this is the last stand, this is the final chance to push back and you will take that opportunity and run with it, and boy, is it accurate to the game.

Amazing! it sounds very clear for a snes tune. I dig the bass. Did you make these samples yourself? I tried to make snes samples myself, but it is very hard.

Holy crap this is cool.

After your base got nearly destroyed, there was almost nothing left, but at least you survived. Now you're left resting alone on foreign land in the middle of the night, you're tired yet can't sleep because something is off. Your surroundings suddenly became eerily quiet and unsettling. You don't know if danger is right around the corner, or looking directly at you. You're short on resources and unsure about tommorow. You can't turn back now, it's too late for that. You wonder how much longer you can keep going.

This feels like it could have come out of some Playstation-era MegaMan X game, in one of the (decoy) final boss's headquarters stages.
