Vituperative - Bonus Blues (Official Single) | Dark Ambient, Horror
The official release of the title track to Vituperative's upcoming album Bonus Blues, a compendium of haunting soundscapes and experimental tunes illustrating the sacrifices of the American working class throughout history.
This song is in remembrance of the Bonus Army, a group of thousands of veterans who marched on Washington D.C. in 1932 demanding recompense and justice.

    I agree 👍 💯 I think an 8-hour work shift is cool. I got so used to 4 on and 3 off 😆. In another 10 to 20 years we're not going to make it off of $20-$30 an hour. Cost of living is going up like crazy and paying taxes every time you get paid is a scam!! You should be able to pay taxes once or twice a month. No one doesn't talk about this.

    Yes sir. All Shawn is doing is expressing views that were widely held in this country (and elsewhere) going back to at least 19th century. Lincoln talked about it - about the indignity of having to rent yourself out and take orders from bosses; Lincoln also talked about how labor is superior to capital, and how labor is the source of all wealth. The mill workers in New England and PA wrote about it, too. As did artisans and craftspeople in NY who lamented the new “wage system” - what we call having a job working for a boss. Eventually FDR also talked about how while the British monarch was in the USA’s past, by the 20th century a group of “new royalists” had cropped up, the “economic royalists.” Eisenhower even talked about it. As did Dr. Martin Luther King. And plenty of others I’m surely leaving off.

You're the one with a totalitarian ideology, just in favor of private power instead of the state. Also, he didn't even mention religion, but I do love that you brought it up. Just ignore the fact that there are Christian Socialists and Christian Communists, and the fact that Christianity has some explicitly anti-Capitalist teachings.

      @@BenMedia7 If you think Christianity is anti-free-market, you've lost the plot. However, free-market systems (I'm going to stop using your derogatory word, Capitalist), demand that people begin by considering what one's neighbor needs. Then, taking steps to provide for that need. One then decides which person, if any, will receive one's money, time, or barter. People compete to provide for others' needs. That is the free-market approach and it is the most altruistic economy out there. Communist/Socialist economies begin by asking: What does my neighbor have, and do I also want it? It can only reduce rights and drive people into poverty, unless those people are corrupt-as we see time and time again. When Christ says: Give everything you have to the poor and follow me, he was speaking to a man who loved wealth more than God, not just someone who was prosperous.

    • @BenMedia7
      @BenMedia7 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@nope24601 The major problem with your argument is that it's very clear you have no actual understanding of Socialism or Communism beyond RW lies and misrepresentations. To quickly define the terms for you: Socialism=The collective, social ownership of the means of production, distribution and exchange Communism= A stateless, classless, moneyless society that is based around the common ownership of the means of production Now that that's out of the way, under a Capitalist economy, someone is always inevitably exploited in the interest of someone else's profit. Capitalism doesn't produce anything, labor does. So calling it "altruistic" is incredibly misleading. Especially when the consequences of it are people dying for a lack of food, clean water or medicine because it wasn't profitable enough to provide them with it. Under a Socialist economy, the value of your labor is used in public interest. Again, labor produces everything. Capitalism and Socialism just determine where the value goes. And before talking about how bad and impoverished Socialist countries are/were, I implore to look up a) what they were like BEFORE Socialist revolutions happened and b) what Capitalist countries did to said Socialist countries AFTER their revolutions. As for the religion point, Jesus implores people to sell their possessions and give the money to the poor, to care for the sick and the poor, to be on your guard against greed, etc. Jesus never says "I will only help or heal you if I can make a profit off it" which is what you're advocating for. He also constantly denounces rich people and even early Christians are described as living on what could be considered a commune. Christianity has an anti-Capitalist message that is embraced by many Christians today. People like you co-opt it for your own political agendas. th-cam.com/video/GmPMcWAuuVo/w-d-xo.html

If you're only making the minimum wage, and you claim to be "represented" by a "union", your biggest problem is that you're stupid. Unfortunately, there are people that are working for slave wages in this country, some of them have two or three jobs, and most of them work a lot harder than you do on any one of those jobs. You should only need one job and 40 hours a week to survive in this country. No one can live on minimum wage -if it kept pace with inflation. It would be $24 an hour now. The reason minimum wage was forced by the unions was because companies would allow people to compete against each other for the lowest wages possible. it was a race to the bottom you had no benefits, and once you got hurt on the job, they would just set you out on the sidewalk and get somebody else. You had to live in a company town and shop at a company store. Children were used for dangerous work because they can fit inside dangerous machines, which would mean it sometimes kill them. The reason the unions forced the Social Security program to be a part of the new deal it’s because they didn’t want all people working until they were 89 years old but now that’s not worth a damn anymore. No benefits you have came from the kindness of a rich persons, heart. Most of these people are born into wealth or connections. I asked Jared, Kushner, we just received $2 billion in Saudi Arabia for his brilliance and along with his wife was running your government. They both got into the ivy leagues because their father, the money. Not because of great intelligence. They are no better than you are. Just benefiting from an accident a Birth to the detriment of thousands if not millions of other people who aren’t so fortunate to choose their parents. Stop being fooled by rich people to believe in delusional thinking like trickle down economics theory, which even the person who developed says does not work.
