The more we know, the better off our loved ones are.. most of us totally unprepared for diagnosis and so much more research still needs to be done. Ignorance and impatience our worst enemies . Thank you for your advice and assistance... Education crucial and more literature available now... Local libraries can offer some excellent books from caregivers too... All available resources really need to be utilized.. they help families cope and understand... We are not alone in this... Love and learn...

This is a good one! Siblings who live farther away often feel guilty for not being able to help with the day-to-day caregiving tasks and want to know to show their appreciation or find ways they can help from a distance.

Safety is so important, both for Jennifer's mom and dad. Another good question this week!

I can only imagine how difficult it would be to leave the home you love. So many memories made over the years! However, safety is important. Not an easy conversation to have with your loved ones.

As parents get older and their mobility declines the conversations do seem to become more difficult, don't they? But so many accidents around the house might be prevented as a result of these really difficult conversations. Stay strong. You've got this!

We'd love to end the stigma around incontinence. It's something that affects so many people worldwide and yet they suffer in silence when there are options out there that can help. Thanks for your comment!
