The only good part of the movie, and she was incredible. Only nitpick I have is the changes in her backstory, but the rest may very well be the best portrayal of Jessica Cruz on screen yet.

Jeannie Tirado did such a great job in this crossover. I hope she gets to portray Jessica again honestly.

Really loved Jessica in Remnant. I've actually honestly always hated her as a Green Lantern - her anxiety and fear never seemed to fit the mold of a Green Lantern. A yellow, maybe, but not green. But in Remnant where her powers aren't tied to her ring or the Guardians, this aspect of her character makes a lot more sense and we get a great story with her and Jaune. Not to mention I really love her RWBY-style design compared to her DC one. Really hoping we get to see JNR in part 3 and see how they all interact at the end of everything.

I definitely enjoyed Jessica Cruz in both parts of this crossover, especially her relationship with Jaune Arc.

The should have had jaune be in part 2 the dianamic between him and jess was great and it would have been nice to see it in part 2

The way she cries for Jaune and looks for him in the second movie realy shows just how much of an impact he’s had on her and how inspirational he is and how he’s so kind. And man am I fanboying over one of our best boys but he’s best boy. He deserves so much love this poor man.

Cruz looks so good design wise

When the main reason the first part was so banger was because of Jaune and Jessica interactions. The lack of it made part 2 feel so meh to me compared to the first.

Everytime I watch Jess I think to myself ‘this is what the show was missing’ Oscar was vital to the plot yet felt empty Ruby felt she had no one to talk to about serious issues except probably Jaune Jaune was dealing with a cavalcade of inner turmoil that never had real catharsis. The direction for these characters were so ‘everywhere’ that nothing anchored them to the plot until the big baddie. Jess, or at least her writing, could’ve fixed this. For example, what if Oscar was written to be like Jess; an anxiety having kid who suddenly had this huge destiny to her? It would’ve given Jaune an emotional support/mentor role. Oscar would develop as Oz slowly transferred to her; all while she suffers greatly from his crippling anxiety and identity crisis. Ruby would have someone to talk to emotionally and relate to since they’re the same age and are socially awkward unlike their teams.
