Planning to do this to a mk4 can u give. Me any advice?

i thought about this 25 years ago as a die hard golf 1and 2 man.. i knew it was the engine as std could do 200 brake and drive with manners so ideal for a stealth build ....but lacks low down torque and is very tall in any bay...so never managed it... today i did the same with an old st170 rebuilt, stripped out, 200 kg lighter, modded slightly revs to 7.5 and pulls 6th gear at 800 rpm like a shopper and corners better than any Golf or Honda period..nice build quality in that VW and a pool of dough as well.... w

How come you never installed the side skirts? All of the pictures and other videos of this car still do not show them installed? Did you have a change of heart?
