    Your videos are like 15fps. You really need to improve that before giving advice to others. Not to sound too critical, but 24fps should be the bare minimum for any setup. It's so laggy that your audio even looks out-of-sync very often. You really need to fix your own setup before you make any recommendations.

    • @heightsplatform
      @heightsplatform 11 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hey Ryan, all the videos on my channel are recorded at 24fps. It seems there was a hiccup during the editing process of this particular video, which caused some moments to appear out of sync. This also goes to show that keeping things simple, as I mention in the video, helps in getting your content out there without getting bogged down by technical issues and that maybe one shouldn't worry about flashy video editing. Thank you for your feedback, and I hope you find our future videos more aligned with your expectations.

    I’m so glad I found your channel, it’s like some of your videos are made specifically for me LOL. I had a question: when you’re making content videos like this one, obviously you have a plan for what you’re going to talk about but how in depth do you go with that? Do you have a whole script or an outline or do you just wing it?

    • @heightsplatform
      @heightsplatform 13 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I'm very glad to hear that! So when I made this video I would plan what to make the video about, and then make an outline. Much easier to talk more naturally about something if you are sharing the general points vs trying to read an exact script. That said, for videos we do now, we are spending more time on the script. Not be be an exact script that I will read word for word, but to be able to better ensure that the content is presented in a compelling and entertaining way, and that it provides enough value. This way you can record once and have all the elements you need, instead of realizing later that the video wasn't as good because you missed something. An example of that would be not only sharing valuable content, but then connecting it to a personal story of your own as an example, so that it is more entertaining to the viewer.

      @@heightsplatform AWESOME advice! I’m still trying to get comfortable talking to the camera… it’s funny because I can perform onstage to a packed auditorium, but filming for social media makes me awkward… it’s like I’m filming me talking to myself. Anyway, in the beginning, how much time did you spend recording and then editing compared to the length of the finished video post? Like, if the goal was a 10 minute video, how much longer would you have been recording, and then how long would it take you to edit it down to what you wanted? Thank you!

    I'm loving the channel, was wondering you ever done a series focused on you coaching a newbie, through the process of learning the platform, and going from scratch to having a selling product? if you have not do this in past, why not considering creating one, and using me as your know nothing newbie? lol cheeky, I know, but I need help for sure. I have content, I have been a male midwife in the UK for over 30 years etc. I think it would be interesting to other. if you have already done this that is great and I would like a link to it please. thanks again for great content. PS, I am at the stage of having something I think others 'should want' but do not seem to want it aghhh.

    • @heightsplatform
      @heightsplatform 11 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Wanted to let you know that we saw this comment and think it is a very interesting idea! We are considering something like that for the future. As far as others “should want”, have you tried asking your audience about their problems? Often you will find that your potential customers may have a similar problem to what your product solves, but they use different wording to define it. If that is what you find, you can adjust your copy to better match wording your audience uses, and you may find results from that alone!

    This video is great thank you. I have just started out on your platform, I am about to subscribe to a monthly plan. I remember hearing you say that you do not recommend the use of google ads in the beginning. this interests me as I have invested a lot of time, learning how to run google ads, etc. it is not straight forward at all, I do understand that the initial investment in running ads will be high. What I heard you say is that you do not recommend it, and you also said not do it until I had already made significant earnings through selling the training already. I am a newbie, I training birth professionals in live zoom trainings. I know that this way of training has no chance to scale and want to put a training I sold in the past onto your platform. I also have a medium size social media following, which I have attempted to use to sell stuff in the past but with little success. I would love it if you would point me in the direction of content that I could use to learn how to promote my work with out having to spend any time and money on google ads,. I do not think the time I have spent learning it is wasted, but the on going commitment to analysing the results that the ads produce and the money I am spending put me off using it at this stage. Thank you for the content you put out, and thanks for the platform you have created. I like it, the process of getting started is not as easy as I thought it would be, but I like it and am going to stick with it. my email is Mark (@) 3step.uk

    i am about to put my training onto your platform, I have experience of posting this course on its own website etc, I priced it at £129 to start with and sold 1. then I dropped it to £49 and sold zero, then I gave It away and got three sign ups a week. I was thinking of pricing it at £29, but i think you will say it is too low? Yet I have no experience of it selling, maybe you would say the market place does not want it? yet it is unique, I have worked as a midwife over 30 years, am a man, and the training is unique, I have been learning google ads etc, etc. I am at a loss tbh. thanks for the video

    • @heightsplatform
      @heightsplatform 21 วันที่ผ่านมา

      The difference between 49 and 29 isn't much to the buyer, but it can make a difference for you. How much you sell is going to be dependent on the size of your email list and audience, if you've properly communicated the result your course provides, and the communication/emails you've been using to promote it. I'd stay away from the google ads, and we usually suggest that especially nowadays, aim for making your first $100,000 or £ without paid advertising because you want to make sure your offer is dialed in before you try to scale it with paid traffic. I would also make sure that you are getting feedback and testimonials from those who have gone through your program. That will make a big difference in helping you improve it for others, and providing social proof to get more to purchase. If you haven't already done so, please send our team an email and we can help. Support at heightsplatform.com

    Caitlin this was super encouraging for me. I had a similar experience with a course I just launched--I actually lost some money because I had so many technical glitches I had to throw money at to get the course running. SO many crazy technical roadblocks most people would have given up. My course is now evergreen and my sales are mostly non-existent. I know the material is good, and despite my many attempts at creating just the right copy/graphics, I believe my messaging is still off. Thanks for the encouragement to keep at it. For Catilin or the channel author, what digital course platform do you use? I'm using Tutor LMS now and again, there is a glitch which forces me to manually enroll every customer as a student. Very frustrating.

    • @heightsplatform
      @heightsplatform หลายเดือนก่อน

      Depends on what you want to do! For a truly evergreen offer, you probably want to pitch to your email list 1-2 times per month. For a launch with or without "rolling launches", many creators do something like once a quarter. There is no right or wrong really! Creators who have evergreen offers and those who have frequent or infrequent launches have all found equal success in these different approaches.

    "Analyze anything I've ever written or said" simply is not possible and frankly false. And why would anyone want that? If you're trying to "sell" me something (even if it's just to watch this video), I'm not buying it.

    • @heightsplatform
      @heightsplatform 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I explained in the video that you have to place what you have written into the tool, or in the case of something you have said, turn it into a transcript (up to you what you put there). As an example of why someone would want this, for me, it has been very useful to remember ideas I talked about on my podcast, where I wanted to find what I said about it, but didn't remember the words to search. It might take hours to find if I had to relisten to the episodes, but now I can roughly describe the idea and AI can tell me where I talked about it. I made the video because I noticed many people paying for all these different AI products that even combined don't offer what you can do easily here.

      I haven't used it much. Been building/using custom GPTs much more. GPT-4 is still more capable than Google's models.
