I have the same model making a loud humming noise with no codes. Do you know if this is the recirculation pump?

It's a simple fix, takes about 2 minutes. The light socket twists out, then the bulb twists out, then pull up the contacts with a small screwdriver or something. This is a common problem with the Elantra, the contacts after a while get pushed down and don't make good contact anymore.

Funny, it worked, then it went back to the quick blinking, then I hit the headlight with my hand, and it worked again, and has been working ever since.

I did the same thing I filled up the bottom with water shut the door and let it drain out . I did this 10 times and every time it drained out all the water . I flipped the breaker and now I'm waiting . I'll give it a few hours and see what happens . If it doesn't fix it will wait all day . I'll keep lengthening the time til I get you 2 days if I have to . I'll post back here with the time that worked . Okay update about a hour later . There is a white plastic drip pan under the dishwater . Its right in the front once you take the plastic strip off that is touching the floor . unscrew the 2 screws and place it out of your way . Mine had insulation in front of the drip pan . pull the insulation out of your way . My drip pan had 2 push in clips you had to push in and then slide the pan out . It will only come so far out because 2 wires are connected to the over flow switch that is inside the drip pan . On mine there are 2 push in clips that let you raise up the round over flow switch unit . Once you raise that round white piece up you can slide the drip tray all the way out and dump the water out and clean it up . Once the water is out just put it back together and the float that the water raises up will now be all the way down and that shuts the switch off and the code lights will go out and your ready to go . The main reason the tray gets filed up in the first place is if you have a garbage disposal and the drain line from the dishwasher is connected to the disposal . When you pour to much water into the disposal at one time to fast the disposal will fill up with water and over flow into the dishwashers drain hose and that goes straight to the drip pan . After a few over flows the pan fills up and the water gets to high in the drip pan and it raises up the float and that causes the switch to come on . The switch won't go off until the water has evaporated or you empty it . The guy in the video just waited till it evaporated enough to lower the float enough to shut back off . So you can either wait till the water evaporates or unscrew 2 screws pull out the drip pan dump it out and put it back together . Doing this took me about 5 minutes and I'm 65 years old and I've never done this before so if I can do it so can you .

You also need to slightly pry out the tab that is on the interior side of the socket. I pulled the bottom tabs only but the problem kept coming back after a few days until I realized there was another connection on the SIDE of the socket. Thank you for this video. It has saved me $$$ in garage repairs.

Thanks for the video. My daughter came home today telling me her 2016 Hyundai Elantra turn signal was blinking fast. I was going to go to the store and buy some bulbs but then I found your video. Took off the housing. Gently pry up the connectors with a tiny screwdriver. Put the bulb back in and it works fine.

This video just saved me a trip to the mechanic and probably a couple hundred dollars. Thank you so much!

In Canada, when I had a scammer call, I baffled him with BS to the point he hung up. So I kept calling him back until he told me not to call back anymore and promised to take me off the list. That was in 2017. Never had a call again. He did not know that I was a tax specialist. Too funny! There should be a "Beware" program offered to seniors to make them aware.

At first I didn’t believe the solution was this simple because I have been trying to figure this out for months, but this was actually my problem. Pulled the connector out alittle bit and put some bulb grease in there and everything was working as normal. Thank you so much

There country allows full call centers to operate with the sole objective to scam us citizens out government needs to starts sending people over there to stop this they literally can do this all day without ever worrying about getting in trouble the centers payout there local police and they just get away with it

You have to watch out, I got an email ref a McAfee subscription approval in the amt of 498.99. Very sophisticated and plausible as they go through the process of explaining away questions. You can't be too careful..

The fact that nothing ever gets done to the people that make these calls is sickening. I can only assume that they are from out of country and that the officials in their country won’t do anything to prevent this (or the officials get a cut) ? I get 1-2 calls daily, mix of texts about ‘my undelivered packages’ or ‘to reset my pin because of unusual activity’, or calls from some extremely angry Chinese lady (which is really a waste since I don’t understand Chinese so couldn’t fall into the scam). But it’s really just a fricken nuisance!

Up until recently I'd always had the false assumption that people cannot be extradited to the USA for crimes like this...but sure enough it's happened already(Nigerians...not sure if country matters). They need to do it more... it'll get the scammers to think twice hopefully.
